Hi, What you have done looks fantastic! I only hope I can get it to work.

I have an issue during step 2:

It panics right after NullCPUPowerManagement::start:

Some Googling suggests the error may be fixed with a different BIOS?

According to SONY I have the latest BIOS for my system.

Also I have created a partition and formatted it as HFS+ Primary. It's the fourth of four primary partitions on the HDD

It does not show when initially booting from the USB stick.

Is that normal?

I have the same problem in my Acer Aspire 4710. kext is provided on first page but dont know where to put.

While you don't have power management fixed, you will probably need NullCPUPowerManagement.kext.

NullCPUPowerManagement.kext.zip has _MACOSX and NullCPUPowerManagement.kext two folder. where to put this folders.

Thanks I have placed NullCPUPowerManagement.kext in Sysem/Library/Extensions/

and after I booted usb I got this error

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - wait ForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerMana gement) timed out.

Please help.

If you get KP related to ApplePolicyControl.kext remove System/Library/Extensions/AppleGraphicsControl.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePolicyControl.kext

I've tried to install OS X ML USB

My configuration is :

Laptop model : HP DV7 3165ef

CPU : i7-720QM 1.6ghz TurboCache up to 2.8ghz

Socket : PGA988

chipset : Mobile Intel HM55 Express

Graphics card : Nvidia GT320M 1Go

memoiry : 4 Go de mémoire DDR3 (2 x 2 048 Mo)

hard drive : Samsung SATA 640 Go (5 400 tr/min)

Version BIOS : InsydeH20 F1.D

I got a KP error even I deleted the ApplePolicyControl.kext like the topic said it

I use GraphicsEnabler=No -f but always nothing

I also use many of boot flags like cpus=1 -x -f ncpi=0x3000 DSDT=null or sodOff

I don't know what to do,

Hey there. Having trouble getting the installer to run. Tried many things, including adding VoodooPS2 kexts to SLE, but the boot always stalls here:

The keyboard still responds when pressing capslock, so the system hasn't halted, it's just not doing anything. I've left it in this state for 2+ hours several times, no luck. Booting with "GraphicsEnabler=No -f" as I've removed the drivers as per first post. Any suggestions?

System spec: Dell XPS M1530 laptop, 2GHz Core2 Duo, 2GB RAM, nVidia GeForce 8X00 mobile.

It is with

CPU= Atom n450 (suport 64 bit)

Graphic GMA3100

Audio Realtek HDAUDIO

WIreless Atheros AR 9285

Lan realTek PCIe

Bluetooth toshiba

I replaced Mach_kernel for Atom from Nawcom

I have deleted all AppleIntelGraphics, ATI and NVDIA kext.

IOPCIFamily is replaced with ported one from http://netkas.org/?p=1053

Boot flag -v -x.

It stopped after DSMOS has arrived.

Please advise me what I did wrong and how to correct it.

I have installed AppleIntelE1000e.kext.

No sign of Ethernet.

I don't remember what did I installed from multishit and boot loader customization, I saw Ethernet in system preference but not connected.

i used that kext in Lion 10.7.4 and ethernet works well.

Please advice how can I solve that problem.

I reinstalled ML again with same ethernet kext and I got connected.

I can downloads from webpages and updates as well.

One thing I am facing is that " Chameleon wizard can not access internet to update or download tools but safari and download functions can access internet".

Is there any setting to modify in chameleon wizard?

Addition to my earlier post:

Re-formatted my USB stick. Removed the ApplePolicyControl.kext and using the customised IOPCIFamily.kext to resolve the "PCI Configuration Begin" error, as the npci boot flags didn't work. Same issue as earlier.

I've noticed that after it stalls, if I press enter or space, the USB stick flashes (it has an access LED) and the HDD spins up, but then nothing happens - it's almost as if the installation GUI is not being drawn.

I can't make this Mac ML dualboot with win7. I installed chameleon newest, then restart, but i don't see menuboot of chameleon, i must choose boot from USB (which is setup mac os) and choose partition installed mac os.

Would you guide me how to make dualboot?

I installed that before, Of course! However, when I do that, I can't boot to win7, and I fixed this problem by use diskpart

Now I still finding the way to dualboot mac with win7!

I don't know why's so easy for someone (I watched guide video on youtube, it's simple!) , but it's so hard for me?
