TP-Link Archer T3U Plus USB WiFi Adapter

Hi guys,

I have a question about my USB WiFi adapter, a TP-Link Archer T3U Plus: can i use it when I come to the first step of the installation of macOS Catalina where it asks for internet connection? I've already tried with my old (very old) USB adapter but appears an error message that says that i don't have any internet connection, so I asked myself if USB adapters can be used at the first start setting and in Catalina or if the problem was the very aged one that I used. If it is possible, can you tell me if the one I ordered is compatible and usable since the first start and what I need to do to make it work, too? (I am on Windows).
