For several daydnalready trying to install BigSur (latest Olarila image on latest Opencore and Clover ) on my IvyBridge Asus Laptop (Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30GHz). Lately I got pretty far and after several new starts when it seems the installation is done and I should boot from the recent installed disk I get the error above. Needles to say I tried several Bios descriptions but no luck.config.plist.zip . Any suggestions?

Incredible!  ??. Now How do I boot from the SSD. Just copying the EFI folder to the efi partition doesn’t do!?

In the past for clover you had to define the path in the Bios : something like efi/clover/cloverx64.efi. Is there anything similar for OC? I don’t understand it myself neither but just copying doesn’t work! Any idea what can it be? Anything wrong with the boot sectors of the SSD?

add entry in bios/uefi, same way for opencore or clover in this case

efi/oc/OpenCore.efi

windows, mouse and keyboard work or move slow.

Colors may be wrong and fonts may disappear because turning from black to white.

Somehow better with OC 6.4 but not satisfying. The effect does not appear under Clover. Take a look at the screenshot.

UPDATE:

I performed an installation from the scratch and I must say it works much better though not so fluid as under Catalina. Extrange too that when deleting VRAM the boot path on the SSDg gets lost and I must enter it again(!)

Another thing: Can you recommend a Bluetooth USB dongle/stick that works well under BigSur?

Hi Mald0n, I have now a working USB dongle that works well but only if the internal USB is deactivated, which only happens when a choose another System Product Name in the Platform Info. This in turn deactivate the internal speakers of the laptop, so i can only use the Bluetooth way :-(

That's why I would like to ask you to deactivate the internal Bluetooth in my DSDT.aml. Would you please do that for me (SendMe attached)?

Send me emilis-MacBook-Pro.zip

Hi, thanks. I did it (again).

Extrange is if i enter a value in config.plist->UEFI->Audio->Pciroot(0x0..... and my AudioCodec28, then in SystemPreferences (Finder) -> Output I get my internal Speakers shown. But no Bluetooh conections are possible.

If I delete the Audio Device entry and codec in config list, then I get no internal speakers shown but I can connect to my external Bluetooth dongle! Suggestions??alc1.zip
