greecedrummer
Hello Jefferson Martins your Intel WiFi is not supported. All you have to do is install Broadcom WiFi cards. Coincidentally, yesterday I finished everything you have as hardware, so we are identical except for the WIFI card. You definitely have to change the EFI, i.e. the config.plist, such as the serial number etc.EFI.zip

greecedrummer
I made this guide for @Jefferson Martins because it specified its hardware. Without knowing what hardware you are occupying, I cannot help you @cucu87! I sold the mainboard with two E5 2680 V4 Xeons! It plays a big role for Open-Core whether it is Haswell-E V3 or Broadwell-E V4 because the CPU ID has to be set under Kernel Setting. I spent a whole day analyzing Dortania's Open Core and other users worldwide like them configured it. I have always used EEC RAM modules exclusively for XEON because it is uncomplicated! I still have the Atermiter DDR4 PC4 2x 16GB REG ECC 2666 MHz that work perfectly with the CPU and mainboard. If you load the BIOS settings Optimized Default, Open Core works perfectly. Kernel Panic is due to BIOS and Opn-Core Settings not communicating with each other or incorrect settings being made. You have to read yourself under Dortania. https://dortania.github.io/Getting-Started-With-ACPI/ssdt-platform.html#high-end-desktop Try this EFI Your Intel WiFi will work very, very limited! You then need it in this Kext https://github.com/OpenIntelWireless/itlwm Then you have to enter it in OpenCore and then you can use intel Wifi. I wish you success! greecedrummer
I do not understand your problem! Failed to install Big Sur USB Boot Stick with this new EFI? Then your BIOS is wrong! Make sure to do an NVRAM reset and reset system with OpenCore then it should work. If you enter big sur in google ZX-DU99D4 you can get some information. This EFI should be able to start BIG Sur. cucu87
BIOS wrong meaning that I have wrong bios configuration, or just that bios version is wrong? Do you have a copy of the bios? I did reset the nvram, I load the optimized bios values, and still getting the kernel panic ... I also did also CSM disabled serial disabled EHCI Handoff Enable Above 4G decoding Enable and still no improvement ... I am adding the image capture of the bios version, just to clarify the bios information. bios_ver_capture.zip
cucu87
Do you think that is possible that this problem is caused because there are 'too many cores' and this is causing the fault? Like limitation in ACPI definition? Any imperfect suggestions? Thanks in advance!
cucu87
Thanks @greecedrummer for your initial help! I can confirm, the issue seems that is caused by a limitation put in macOS (64). Once that I disabled the hyper-threading (ending with just 2*18 below the limit), then the boot process proceed without problems. 2*18 (ok) < 64 < 2*2*18 (not ok) You were Ok with yours dual 14 core: 2*2*14 < 64. It would be Ok also with dual 16 cores: 2*2*16 = 64 For everything that has more than dual 16 core it would become counterproductive. It would be nice if someone figured (or would figure( out a workaround.
cucu87
Hello greecedrummer, Can you point to a documentation that establish how to establish these magic numbers for "Fake CPUID" entry? In dortania this is documented like: Cpuid1Data: C3060300 00000000 00000000 00000000 In other places this is documented like: Cpuid1Data: F2060300 00000000 00000000 00000000 Thanks in advance!
