htrung4 Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 (edited) Update: Full working Big Sur now. Problem: Kext duplication. Clean snapshot in proper tree and accept the suggestion to disable the kext. Hello, my hackintosh is working well with Catalina using Opencore 0.6.4. My hardware: Bootloader: opencore 0.6.4 (config attached, SMBIOS removed) Hardware: Laptop thinkpad L380 (detail info: https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/Sys/PDF/ThinkPad/ThinkPad_L380/ThinkPad_L380_Spec.PDF) CPU: I5-8250U GPU: UHD 620 SSD: 970 Evo plus Wifi card: native broadcom card OS: MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 I'm trying to install Big Sur on another partition, but encountered KP prior initialization. I tried different Big Sur versions (including the public release one), but to no avail. If anyone know how to fix, please help me. Thank you. Config file in the attached file. htrung4 Posted November 13, 2020 Author Posted November 13, 2020 Hello, I checked with sanity checker and all is good. For the combination, could you please give me more hint for that? Which part I should change to make it work? I saw different people give different options, and none works for my case. Thank you.
htrung4 Posted November 13, 2020 Author Posted November 13, 2020 Hello, I removed the DSDT patched and make a clear snapshot with Propertree, and I am asked (please see the attached picture): Disable the following kexts with duplicate CFBundleIdentifiers? VoodooPS2Controller.kext/Contents/PlugIns/VoodooInput.kext Before I chose no and it didn't work. Now I choose yes and it is installing Big Sur. Do you know what is this? Why am I asked this when making a clear snapshot with Propertree? Again, thank you for your help. clean_snapshot_voodooPS2controller_problem.rar
