Clevo NL40CU trackpad issue

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have a Clevo nl40cu laptop. i7-10510 cpu with opencore 0.6.2 bootloader installed. Trackpad works with ApplePS2SmartTouchPad.kext, but multitouch doesn't work. Trackpad moltitouch does not work in Catalina 10.15.7 or Bigsur Beta11. First, smcbatterymanager.kext was showing the battery incorrectly, but after installing ACPIBatteryManager.kext my problem was resolved.

My device's bios name on windows is \ _SB.PCI0.I2C0.TPD0. I got kernel panic every time when i put voodooI2C (v2.5.2) and voodooI2CHID.kext to OC kext folder. Trackpad bios device name pci8086, 2e8. What should I do to run multi gestures on the laptop? The link for the runme.app files is https://www.transfernow.net/e2FuAS102020 . Thank you.

Hi,

I added the EC, HPET and PLUG.aml files created via ssdtime to the ACPI folder and the patch it created to the config.plist file on Windows. However, I still get an error.

I attached my DSDT.aml, patches_OC.plist and my config.plist file.

If there is anything else I can do to fix the problem and I would appreciate to you.
Thanks.

Hi again @MaLd0n,

Yesterday i installed new VoodooI2C.kext and voodooI2CHID.kext, the trackpad appears in the system settings, but the mouse pointer does not work at this time.
In Windows, my device appears as TPD0, but when I look with GenI2C.app in hackintosh appear "TYPC" and IOName are ANX7411. ANX7411 is my type-c device. You know the best but i guess my problem is conflight usb type -c with trackpad?

I could not find a solution yet. I'm sending my runme output.

Thanks for your help.

PS: I wanted to donate but paypal and other apps is banned in our country. So sorry :(.

I added some s.shots.
