Most likely it's a problem with the image.

Use some app like md5summer to calculate the checksum and compare with the one (if) provided where you got the dmg.

What's the error message?

I have a question, should I remove AppleCPUPowerManagement.kext or any other kext? I use my laptop connected to HDMI (which works fine) but if I close the lid the computer goes to sleep and wont come back from it. Didn't used to do that before the DSDT you made for me. I guess I need something else like the SleepEnabler.kext. Sorry for been such pain but after trying to compile a DSDT on my own for a long time I finally came across you that is willing to help. Thanks

GAAAAA This error is annoying me so much. To get so far only to have an error come up mid-way through installation is really annoying :( Can anyone else help me, I've tried everything and this forum has been the most helpful so far

I installed OSX 10.6.3 to an IDE HDD successfully using Nawcoms Mod CD.

Everything worked fine, until i restarted and plugged in my other SATA drives.

They appear in finder, but when i browse through them the PC locks up and i cant do anything.

I am using the 64bit AppleNForceATA.kext, and everything was working perfectly until i plugged in the SATA drives.

Any ideas?

Everything works great thanks a lot, the only thing that wont work properly is "sleep" the computer goes on sleep mode when lid is closed or by the power button and it will "return" from sleep after pressing the power button but I get a black screen. Another thing I want to make a donation to you but I noticed that there is a different email cassandro@gmail.com and not the danielmaldonado@gmail.com. Since you are the one doing all the work I wanted to know if you are ok with that. I have no idea how you guys work things out.

the sleep problem ps2 kexts?

No MaLd0n removing the PS2 kext didn't fix the problem. In Lion if I put the computer to sleep it wont wake and have to force it to shut down using the power button and when I turn it back on it will reset the computer's bios. "weird" Because in my Snow leopard partition I have to force the computer to shut down using the power button too but when I turn it back on what I get is the computer returning from sleep.

That fixed the Bios reset issue in Lion thanks, any more ideas about video not returning from sleep (laptop screen or the external monitor)

Thanks anyway. I guess I have to be committed to have a Laptop without sleep. (It's just going to be a tired laptop) :)

Once more thanks!
