Hi,

I have a dual graphic card set up with motherboard Aorus Z390 Pro wifi and my graphic cards are ATX RX 480 and Nvidia 2070 Super.

I first installed Catalina without plugging in the Nvidia card and everything worked okay with the dsdt downloaded from https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/340936-audiogods-aorus-z390-master-patched-dsdt-efi-for-catalina-mini-guide-and-discussion/.

However, after I plugged in the Nvidia 2070 super and tried disabling it according to the guide, the sleep/wake stopped working.

I figured the disabling is more like a renaming to avoid the load of driver. I am wondering if fully disabling the card is possible.

I read from this post, maybe the following patch may work.

Quote

Note: #2: Not all ACPI sets have an _INI at the _OFF path. In that case, you simply add an _INI that calls off. Easiest to add it just before the _OFF method:

Code:

Method(_INI) { _OFF() }

Could you help me with the sleep/wake issue if possible? Just donated $5 and will donate more once this gets resolved.

Thanks

Send me.7z

The sleep/wake is still broken.

However, now, It seems the system can successfully go to sleep after 2minutes, but I got black screen on wake up.

Hi @MaLd0n,

Thanks for the reply. I have confirmed that I have iGPU disabled and then I added shikigva=128 to bootlegs.

With the dsdt you sent me, I am still getting the same panic error as in my screenshot.

However, with the original EFI folder you sent me, I was able to put my Hackintosh to sleep and only thing was it has black screen on wake up. I was able to confirm the wake up with sound on.

I forgot to mention that my bios version is F11, not sure if this matters. Is there anything else I could still try potentially?

Thanks a lot

The sleep/wake works for me now!! Thanks a lot. May I ask what is the trick here?

Also just curious, do I still need to pull some of the kexts/patches from my old config.plist or shall I just keep the new one?

Will make another donation in the next a few minutes. I really appreciate the help.
