runme is a program / script that checks your installation, collects the necessary information based on which to create a DSDT file DSDT (Differentiated System Description Table) is a part of the ACPI specification. It supplies information about supported power events in a given system. ACPI tables are provided in firmware from the manufacturer. A common Linux problem is missing ACPI functionality, such as: fans not running, screens not turning off when the lid is closed, etc. This can stem from DSDTs made with Windows specifically in mind, which can be patched after installation. The goal of this article is to analyze and rebuild a faulty DSDT, so that the kernel can override the default one. Basically a DSDT table is the code run on ACPI (Power Management) events.

i have clover. And in last month i like tested mojave and catalina (reinstalled maybe 4-5 times) many times, and here no problem with sleeping. sometimes only long time till laptop off when i do off. But after i close lid or use power button or menu/sleep, everything is ok for me. Mald0n prepare my DSDT and seems all fine (only touchpad dont work correctly - workin aka mouse - 2 button, but works)

yes, i try that. first with 1200-1300MHz and normal and second 800MHz with battery save still got feeling like battery have two hours life max (normally 5-8hours internet/office work) My other hack, Toshiba (skylike) have "normal battery life"

Atm wifi/BT with DW1820a (masked pin) but only 2,4GHz and BT. Waiting for new CN card. Wifi DW1802a //1028:0023 (part # CN-08PKF4)// atm not works on L340-15IRH, BT yes (on Toshiba Tecra DW work, BT not ). Got card inside PCI list and device list, get device path... testing diferent boot-args for AirportBrcmFixup, tested without. KP or no boot is result atm. So still waiting for another one CN card

after 10 min booting i booted system up and got device path ?? but it is not as easy as I thought, the first KP surprised me immediately With blocket AirportBRCMFixup.kext i boot normally but no wifi ofc, but anyway with enabled wifi in BIOS

interesting... / i tested DW1820a like two hours in Windows without any trouble on wifi and with BT speaker on/ seems alot DW card do alot strange things... Btw is here any chance got Device path without system OSX up? i cant boot with enabled wifi (when i disable wifi in bios, system boot), and cant set ASPM to 0 without Device path. On my Tecra is works, on Lenovo not, but here on lenovo l340 i got BT on DW1820a, just need ASPM set i think for next step.. Maybe thanks F4 in clover? is here in ACPI any info about that path? need this for clover injection, i dont know that path

Hmm, for test i put DW-1820A (before i tested only in OSX) inside laptop and its works for Windows 10, so i think here is chance to work about DW1560, or i wrong? What u think?

Hi, i have almost functional hack on my Lenovo L340-15IRH laptop. Last one what i need is replace RTL2281 Wifi/BT modul. i tested DW1820A (works on my Toshiba) and Apple A1465 A1466 653-0023 BroadCom BCM94360CS2 Wireless WIFI Bluetooth Card (also works on my Toshiba Tecra Z40-C-11e) But system dont recognize cards in widows or mac. Dont get any warning msg about whitelist - cant clear whitelist, bios is locked, so i need use som programmer for this and i affraid about warancy Someone on this video have a similar laptop but i7 and use Dell DW1560. But on Ebay sellers mostly wrote:. This wireless card could not compact with any IBM/Thinkpad/IBM or HP version laptop. DW1560 is "expansive card".. so i am rly not sure if this card be functional in my L340-15IRH... Laptop have m.2 slot for wlan, but ofc i can use some cable with m.2 to minipci etc... What now.. ? Not sure atm, but seems i have big battery drain on this hack... how i check this? This model has tewo graphics card, but in System info only integrated intel, no GTX here (its ok ofc), I just thought it might be the second graphics card. Neither cooling (ventilatory) somehow do not contact, so probably there will not be a problem ...

Hi all, for start, u need know, i have some "functional OSX hacks done, but still i am rly noob, this community/page help me alot, also i donate some bucks.. for beer... i just need a little advice maybe, not sure.. seriously i am lost. I follow open topic, but cant get Trackpad to work. My machine is here: my trackpad ACPI ID is TDP0, its Syna2852 according IOReg, IO Interrupt specifiers starts on DATA field with 53, so its highest than 47, then i follow second post here.. When u start Runme app, try before it set keyboard to english or british. I think u use another keyboard than english? Bcoz i sometime use czech keyboard, i see, IOreg try save send?me instead send_me file.. so when i switch to english IO reg make it corectly. Hope this help
