did a fresh 10.12.6 install. I couldnt get high sierra or mojave installer to boot, it said AMD IOFB CRITICAL ERROR cannot read vbios, even when loadvbios enabled in clover and file supplied. injecting ati leads to a black screen in sierra, I tried all the framebuffers with LVDS output via config.plist editing but no such luck. Verde.kext also doesn't help (and doesnt load properly at all in high sierra/mojave?) whatevergreen doesnt properly activate the card

yeah but nothing seems to activate the GPU properly. verde.kexts also don't work. I tried installing mojave again but your installer fails at force_cs runstime apple com dirhelper. It's annoying because in theory everything in this laptop should be compatible. Thanks anyway!

thank you so much for your help I'll be sure to donate soon! I'm not quite sure which smbios to use, I red on tonyosx86 that macmini6,x and imac13x are ivy bridge DGPU enabled so trying those.. maybe I should stick to MBP9,x? I don't know... Send me Maartjes-iMac.zip

no, HP laptop bios are not very good. There isnt even an option to disable serial, I can disable the port but the chip still shows up in clover. No GFX settings though. windows loads the AMD Firepro GPU easily. Unfortunately there is no logic pro for windows hehe

I injected ATI in clover, but still no accelaretion and only 7mb vram. Loading vbios doesnt seem to help. I tried a few IGplatform's and framebuffers but none load everything properly, pegp>gfx0 also doesnt help. is there anyway to force it to load? to turn off the IGPU? (there is no such option in the bios)

the graphics card is in pci0 pegp1 dgfx0 SSDT-2.aml, I cannot for the life of me get it to work properly, patching is very complicated! the dsdt.aml you helped me with also doesnt load it properly. ioreg shows generic display (and buri framebuffer, amdsupport.kext. system profiler shows amd firepro m4000, and sometimes hd7700 series but only with 7mb ram Send me Maartjes-iMac.zip

the mojave installer will not boot, it hangs on Forcing CS_RUNTIME for entitlement: com.apple.rootless.install in 10.12 the AMD Firepro m4000 GPU still is not working properly, only loading 7mb ram no acceleration. Verde.kext, whatevergreen, nothing seems to work!

if I put iMac13,2 macpro6,1 or macbookpro9,2 in smbios the clover bootscreen at i can get it to boot, but the gpu is still only showing 7 mb and no acceleration. radpg=15 and the vbios don't help.

I did a fresh 10.12 install ( I can't get the Mojave installer to boot, stuck at bsd.dirhelper) , installed clover, copied your series 7 laptop chipset clover folder (added vbios rom) and the patched SSDT (generated through script) /DSDT but I can only boot through the installer USB stick. Using a laptop HP Elitebook 8570W with i7 3720QM processor, QM77 chipset, AMD Firepro m4000 GPU. On paper it should all be compatible but I can not get it to work at all. but how can I fix the graphics card? its supposed to be supported OOB. been trying this for weeks now haha. I think i'll give up (unless someone has some fix in mind I guess haha)

thank you very much but unfortunately my graphics card still isn't loading properly, only showing 5 mb memory. during boot it gives acpi errors but they go too fast to properly read, acpi exception ae_bad_parameter returned by handler for embedded control method parse/execution failed i\_sb_pci0.lpcb.ec0.b_tif AE_BAD PARAMETER etc
