I am having issues with brightness, graphics are enabled with metal support, intel hd520 and having a bit of lag in overall performance. it has rtl8723de wifi, can it work? if not can anyone recommend some cheap solution to wifi. Hi Maldon, Thanks alot for the edited DSDT, although i tried to patch it for battery stats reading and also the brightness keys patching, but i didnt got very far with it and ended up screwing it. I then had a fresh start, patched the DSDT myself with necessary patches, now i have a working DSDT with everything working except that your DSDT had much dimmer brightness levels, but mine has much higher , can you tell me what patch you applied to get the brightness slider working? I have one more curiosity, can i read the fan rpm using dsdt? if yes, how? You have been a inspiror already to me. Hi MalD0n, thankyou so much for the quick revert and giving your precious time, I used the edited DSDT and brightness slider started working but only by going to display settings, no F3,F4 keys for brightness, also the battery is still not showing up, i have used virtualsmc and its plugins for battery and brightness. Hi, Not new to the forum but yeah have been following many threads in the forum, Finally Installed Catalina on my HP Pavilion G6 1202tx i3 2330m processor and hd 3000 graphics, attaching the sendme files, in hope of someone, to provide the patched dsdt, i cant use brightness keys and brightness slider doesnt work too, no battery percentage, card reader not working. Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help me. Also i have a request if someone can provide a screen recording while patching dsdt so that i can try to do it myself for later releases.
