Im about to change the SMBIOS to see if that works, however i have a quick question: i checked everymac.com to see the closest cpu match for my laptop. This is what i found: Apple iMac "Core i3" 3.3 21.5-Inch (Early 2013) Specs Identifiers: Early 2013 (Edu) - ME699LL/A - iMac13,1 - A1418 - 2545 Will this smbios profile work on the laptop? or would you suggest anything that could work with my i3-3120m laptop. Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone out there can help me out. Everything works fine, audio, graphics, rt2870 wifi, but every time i shutdown my laptop it doesnt fully shut down. The screen would go off, but the board seems to remain ON, including the HDD indicator which flashes solid. I have to press the power button on my laptop for 3 seconds to achieve full shut down. I already generated a ssdt and placed it on the acpi patched folder as well as a dsdt file. Still no luck. NEC VERSAPRO LAPTOP i3-3120m intel hd4000 generic hm75 chipset with usb3.0 ports (currently on 2.0,still figuring out how to enable 3.0) I have attached my config.plist and my kext folder. Hello Maldon and Olarilla Admins! First of all, after several months of trying to have a working hackintosh, it was you guys that made me boot up my first machine! Im totally digging the etcher image flasher method. Many thanks to you guys! You guys are awesome. I have attached my "sendme" file here, asking for you guys to check it out at your most convenient time. Here are my brief specs: NEC Versapro Brand laptop i3,3120M HD4000 generic HM75 motherboard i guess. Everything seems to working fine, audio, japanese keyboard, 3rd party wifi, except for just shutdown issues. Also, My laptop has usb 3.0, but its working with 2.0. no biggie. The shutdown process to be weird. Screen would shutdown, except the HD indicator and ON indicator is still ON. I have to manually press the power button for 2 seconds to achieve full shutdown. Im still relatively new in the hackintosh scene, I am reading a lot of articles to learn more. Hopefully you guys can help me. Many thanks to guys. Send me ProgressiveMACs-MacBook-Air.zip
