  1. The only partitions on offer are my OS partition and 'Recovery'. Just checked Clover and the only hidden partition is 'Preboot'. I'm certain I must be overlooking something obvious...
  2. OK, so, new DTST in place, reboots a minute after the install starts, NO CPU PANIC!! ... And then back to 10.15.0. What am I missing? Is there a 10.15.1 installer so I can skip 10.15.0 entirely? It's a fresh enough install that I don't mind starting over from scratch if it will help.
  3. You haven't edited these yet. You edited my Mojave install on a different machine last year. This is a fresh install of Catalina on a different machine with entirely different hardware. And I can't run the .1 upgrade and use my video card because the upgrade installer isn't working without the patched DTST. Right now it just crashes on a CPU panic.
  4. Intel i9-9900k Aorus z390 Pro Gigabyte RX 5700 XT Gaming OC 8G BCM943602CS + Bluetooth 4.1 1750Mbps 802.11AC PCi-E Wireless Network Card (not plugged in right now) macOS 10.15 Catalina Thanks! Send me.zip
  5. Oh, OK, so I need a DSDT patch first, before the OS upgrade. That's all I needed to know.
  6. Yeah, good spot. I tried that. When the upgrade program runs, I get a reboot after about a minute or two, then a CPU panic. Attached are screen grabs of the shutdown and crash... And thanks for having a look, Daniel! Screens.zip
  7. Hi! I'm In a similar fix. Downloaded the 10.15.1 image, installed on my fresh new build (according to your guide) onto a clean SSD and it installed 10.15.0 instead. However, the install was flawless, so thank you for that. Installed the latest 100/200/300 chipset EFI folder. All the kexts, including Whatevergreen, are the latest version. Upgraded Clover to the latest version. Other than that, I have made *no* modifications to the OS or Clover, or to Clover's config.plist. When I try to install the 10.15.1 upgrade, it goes to the Apple progress bar black screen, then the system reboots after about 2 minutes. If I reboot to the macOS partition on the SSD, the OS was not upgraded. If I reboot to the 'Install macOS' partition on the SSD, I get a black screen and nothing. After an hour of letting that run, (just in case I was getting a black screen and it was installing in the background), if I then rebooted into the macOS partition, it would not boot. Oh, and the system works fine booting from a Windows partition, so the hardware all seems OK. Maybe I need to do something else first, before I try to install the update? I was going to request a DSDT for my machine, but I thought I could do that after the update. Maybe I need to do that first? System Specs: Z390 Aorus Pro i9-9900k 16GB 3600mhz 500GB 970EVO Plus (latest updated firmware) Gigabyte RX5700 XT Gaming OC 8G Any help greatly appreciated!
  8. OK, so, forgive me for being an idiot. Again. I did the upgrade to my boot disk. It completed. I rebooted from that same disk. Clover Configurator tells me I booted from the old version of Clover. What did I miss? I mounted the EFI partition, but installing to the EFI volume was not an option on the installer... I'm sure it's something obvious... Added in 39 minutes 3 seconds: After reinstalling for a second time, it took. Mystery. Thanks for the help, MaLd0n
  9. Thanks for the clarity. I didn't want to screw everything up just when I had it running smoothly by doing something dumb. . I'll still back up my Clover partition, just in case.
  10. HI! I'm on Mojave 14.3 and I'm using the Olarila Clover folder for my chipset. I'd love to upgrade to the latest version of Clover. However, I'm not sure how to do it without possibly messing up my config. So, I know I need to preserve my current config.plist, my kexts and my custom patched DSDT.aml. Am I missing anything else? Thanks in advance for any answers.
  11. It does! But after installing the new update, i do notice some of my USB peripherals, like my webcam, have gotten flakey, cutting in and out or freezing up intermittently. I'd love to get my USB working more reliably, but that might be as good as it gets with a Hack and this mobo, I suspect. Thanks again for all the help.
  12. Somehow made a copy the Clover folder in the root of my EFI volume and was happily modifying that one instead of the real one. Moral of the story: Bleary eyed late night/early morning hacks sometimes take some stupid turns.
  13. And a follow up question... Is there another fairly simple way to exclude these ports if this method isn't working on this machine for whatever reason? One of the things that I loved about this method was that it was the only one I found that I felt confident enough to do.
  14. Here's my kexts directory and the results of Run Me App if that helps. Thanks for any ideas, I'm clueless as to what I'm missing... Send me Michaels-iMac.zip
  15. Thanks! Added in 5 minutes 11 seconds: Hmm. USBInjectAll.kext is there. Still no change on reboot...
  16. OK, so... I added the followiong to my boot arguments... uia_exclude=HS03;HS04;HS09;HS10;HS13 shikigva=60 then saved and rebooted. BUT, after reboot, IOReg app still shows the excluded ports as active. What dumb thing am I missing?
  17. BIOS still set to 'Other OS'.
  18. I've not yet reattached the other drives. I've managed to boot using -x safe mode. I've attached the Send Me file. I'm going to reboot now and check the BIOS for any strange revision of 'Other OS' to 'Windows' Send me Steventosh.zip
  19. Disconnected all drives except the NVME, fails again on same FW error as in the pic above.
  20. Just to triple check, I just booted to the Mojave install on that NVME drive using Clover on the Mojave USB installer I created with unishit. Added in 1 minute 37 seconds: OK, will disconnect my other drives and retry the NVME with the CHIPSET SERIES 10, 20 and 30 Clover folder.

  22. Firewire's working fine booting off this drive. Booting off my NVME drive, the system locks up with that firewire error, so I can't get into the OS without booting from the simple Clover install on my Mojave install USB stick. Added in 17 minutes 17 seconds: To be clear, it's all working fine booting from this drive. It's only not working when I try to boot from the NVME using the CHIPSET SERIES 10, 20 and 30 Clover folder in the NVME's EFI volume. Added in 1 minute 31 seconds: I should add that I was able to boot from that drive before replacing the old Clover config with the CHIPSET SERIES 10, 20 and 30 version.
  23. Here you go. Booting from the 1 TB SSD (non NVME) using the last Clover folder you sent me. Send me Michaels-iMac.zip
