Hey Artur! It's been a long time. I'm back from UK and I gave 10.8 a try again. Updated it to 10.8.2 and (somehow?) there was an info.plist in ATI5000Controller kext, so I added my device id there. Then in AMDAccelerator kext I added my device id under Juniper(yes, my HD5670 has Juniper core) and voila! It works perfectly. (first I tried add under Evergreen. it worked, had QE/CI but when i wanted to do something (like open Disk Utility or Safari) the system crashed totally(not a single kernel panic. all frozen). Now I'm using the system for the 2nd day and it's alright. However I'm not satisfied with the performance. I think that my card isn't running on the max gpu core/memory frequency. What do you think? Is there any way to check this or what benchmark should I run or should I set the cores manually in the card's bios? I know that the Radeon cards can set their gpu core and memory frequency down to 157/300 from 775/900 (in my case) and I'm afraid my card's running on 157/300. When I check the heat of my gpu it's cooler then in windows. Any tip/advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers,

Hello! Yes, only happens in MLion. Lion works very well with same settings. I think this is -maybe- a boot loader error cause if I put GraphicsEnabler to "No" there is GUI but no qe/ci. I'm sure about the Juniper but I will give Redwood a try again. Will keep you posted. Also Hoolock must be correct because it loads my card well. No crash in DVD player and no ghost 2nd display. Hello! I would like to ask for a little help. I have a "special-edition" HD5670 card. To be precise: VTX3D Radeon HD5670/1GB System Information here: As you can see it has a custom device id 68B9 which not the standard for HD5670 cards: They use 68D8 usually This wasn't a problem for me in OSX 10.7.x cause I just added 0x68B91002 manually to my ATI5000Controller.kext repaired permissions and it worked perfectly with Hoolock personality added to org.chameleon.boot.plist Now in 10.8 there's no info.plist in the ATI5000Controller.kext I did researches and found info about the newly introduced AMDRadeonAccelerator.kext I opened it up and edited its info.plst under the Juniper part and added the line 0x68B9 to it (I know 5670s use Redwood but GeekBench says it's a Juniper card) So I added the line, repaired permissions booted up with GraphicsEnabler=Yes (I use ErmaC's latest boot loader). With -v it boots the system but the screen stuck at showing the log. If I type in my password (blind - no GUI) and then I press CMD+Shift+3 it takes a screenshot(I can hear the sound) so it means the system boots up properly but it messes up something with the vga. This is everything I could find out by myself. Do you have any idea what should I do? My system spec are: Gigabyte H61M-D2-B3 (I'm using pre edited DSDT - works well) Intel i3 2120 CPU VTX3D 5670/1GB vga 4GB ram Sorry for talking so much but I wanted to tell you everything and maybe it might help other people later in the future too.
