believe it or not osx seems to be running great! lol I haven't tried to login to iTunes or iMessage or anything yet but for running on 8 cores with 8gb of ram its snappy

So I managed to get your installer to work on the newest version of unRAID, I Used the X99 Clover files and the install rolled smooth no modifications needed only needed to set bios resolution to 1920x1080 so that the bios wouldn't adjust the monitor to 4k. So far tho seems very quick and responsive Nvidia is working out the box. Would you mind providing a DSDT please good sir?

no I don't think so I mean I do believe that atm the card is disabled but when I had it enabled I wasn't able to have it not put off a display it would either mirror or extend even if there wasn't a monitor plugged in I thought that If used the old dsdt file you've made for Me it would would break the gfx config Added in 8 minutes 44 seconds: if im honest I really don't even know how I got the 650 to stop putting off a display I just know that when my machine is booting the display is the 650 and acts like primary but when osx boots it switches to the 1080 and uses the 1080 without trying to put off display to the 650 but still shows the 650 in the system report with drivers.

I added a new 2nd graphics card for Virtual machines and passthrough. I am nervous about loading the dsdt you provided me before. Was hoping to get a new one if possible. The 2nd gpu is not used for putting off a display nothing is hooked to it. The configuration I currently have for displays is working flawlessly I also noticed that im currently using 10gb of wired ram at start up of osx. Im also unable to do any updates at all I before the reinstall and after. Wasn't sure if patch would help with this or not. ps. It’s only 1 monitor I have 2 gpu the 2nd GPUs is for qemu and vbox/VMware Trying to figure out how to get it in headless mode. My board already has it in pass through mode. Well scratch that I managed to figure out how to get both of the cards loaded and working only issue I’m having is that the secondary card isn’t hooked up to a monitor but it’s still trying to mirror or extend to the same output as the 1080 is it possible to run it headless ?

Hey so I have another graphic card I was thinking about throwing in my machine as secondary. Its a Nvidia GTX 650 TI and I wanted to use it for VM passthrough and etc is it possible for me to do this with the current configuration I have ?

do I need the bootstrap patch ?

well I went and applied those patches I'm not really seeing much a of a drop in temps is there a specific one you can tell me I should go after.

maldon was i suppose to replace the current dsdt with that one becaus thats what i did and graphics stopped working I was able to get them back working by reinstalling the driver. I also just noticed that my CPU is running extremely hot. Sitting at around 95c which isnt good at all this machine usually runs at 50-60c what can I do. I went and turned off all over clocks and enabled speedsteps.

I tried just booting with only the Nvidia web option checked and every other variant I could try from boot flags to trying to inject Nvidia etc. Had no luck at all but when I initially enabled the option by its self my pc booted up but I had no display. It was on during the initial boot up but turned off when desktop loaded. My tv is what I use as a display its a LG ultra 4k tv using HDMI Do I need to shave sip enabled? Added in 14 minutes 9 seconds: alright so when i started it back up the display cut off right as the desktop would of loaded i have the monitor connected through HDMI is there anything i was suppose to do to make sure it used that? Added in 6 minutes 26 seconds: I was able to get the machine to boot by goin into the options on the clover enabling the HDMI fix when it booted up however it still wasn't using the Nvidia display. Gonna check into if I have nvram enabled or not and how to enable it.

I did for the most part my machine wasn't booting when I tried to use it without applying anything else to it. I do need to do the smbios part of the configuration on it correct?

I have tried that method aswell. If I was to reinstall high Sierra would I need to get another DSDT file from you or can I use the one I have. Also if I do reinstall do I need to update high Sierra to the latest version before applying the DSDT and Nvidia web ?

Okay so I have literally tried everything I have found online to get this card to work. Can one of you guys please give me a hand. I have tried every method I could find new and old from adding kext to modifying the GFX to IGFX and can't figure this out.
