I have my lenovo z570 with OSX ElCapitan installed. Everything works except wifi (because of the card, obviously). But I experience slowness in the system. I cant run facebook on safari, it hangs after scrolling for a while and then I have to force turn off the laptop using power button. My laptop has upgraded to 6GB RAM, 120 GB samsung 850 EVO ssd. Sometimes it hangs even after starting without starting any app. Please help.

Well, just after I read your comment, I installed Pacifist. But When I clicked it to run, the system hanged. And I turned off my machine by pressing power button because there was no option (Many times I have to do this when system hangs.) Now before I could proceed to restore the AppleHDA, I found that the Audio is actually functioning properly. I don't think I need to restore the AppleHDA I guess, I didn't make any changes to it, and my Sound is actually working fine without any problem.

Previously I had just installed VoodooHDA in Kexts/Other folder, which is removed. How do I restore the vanilla AppleHDA kext ?

Hi MaLd0n, Sleep and restart is creating problems. When I leave my hackintosh for a while, the screen goes off. When I come back, and hit any key, the desktop is back, but I am not able to click anywhere because the Finder hangs and I get the beachball rotating(busy cursor). I also try to Relaunch the Finder, but it doesn't restore. FInally I have to force restart the machine to get the Finder working. P.S. I have kept the Sleep settings to "Never". But still the display turns off/goes to sleep. And In case of Restart, sometimes it works, sometimes it hangs, and then wherever I click, no action happens.

I have refered https://github.com/acidanthera/AppleALC/wiki/Supported-codecs to get the layout id for the audio codec ALC272 used in my laptop. How ever, I have tried both the layout ids mentioned there (3 & 11) but Audio doesn't work.

I've installed OSx ElCapitan. Most of the things run out of the box except a few things. The battery status is not seen, brightness control, some glitches in graphics, sleep doesn't work, and I guess power management should be taken care of. Attached is my file. Please revert soon.
