  1. Wow thanks man! I can now boot up and login properly! Only one thing is that I’ve changed the smbios to iMac19,2 and added boot argument shikigva=128 but my sidecar still says timeout from my iPad. FYI it used to work in the past but I don’t know what happened.
  2. Hi Mald0n, hope i got this right. For the EFI folder, it should be the same as the previous send me, except that i replaced the patched dsdt.aml file with the one you sent earlier. origin.zip
  3. Hi Mald0n can u help provide me an updated config.plist file with the smbios and shikigva settings? I tried to update the patched dsdt.aml file but now the system hang half way during boot. So I can’t even access clover configurator to do it. Thank you!
  4. Hi Mald0n, need your help again. I recently bought a Lexar NVME drive but found that it doesn't work with MacOS (always crashing on login). But I have another PNY NVME that works as the Hackhintosh boot drive. From my IO Registry, I can see that RP017 is the existing PNY one, and I believe the other NVME slot is RP09. Can you help me patch my DSDT to disable the other NVME slot? Attached is my run me file. https://www.icloud.com/iclouddrive/0OdRmSlMC3j08yQDP6hAlnf4A#Send_me_iMac I have another issue too, that my Sidecar stopped working (used to work). I wonder if you can fix that through patching too? Thanks!
  5. Hi MaLd0n, just an update that I managed to fix all three items above without new DSDT. Thanks for looking into it for me though. The first is due to incorrect PlatformID setting. I use iGPU + dGPU in headless mode. The second was fixed by simply resetting my bluetooth module (Shift+opt+click on bluetooth icon -> Debug -> Reset the Bluetooth module) The third just works now. I did update a bunch of kext but I'm not sure what fixed it, just happy it did.
  6. OK an update. I found this article https://www.tonycrapx86.com/threads/an-idiots-guide-to-lilu-and-its-plug-ins.260063/ and managed to solve my problem after updating my PlatformID I am using a coffee lake cpu that has a dedicated iGPU although I'm using an dGPU. I turned on my iGPU on BIOS and set my Headless PlatformID as 0x3E920003 and shikigva=60. Sidecar now runs perfectly for me.
  7. Hi MaLd0n, i recently upgraded my Movaje to Catalina. For the DSDT, I was using the one you created for me about a year ago. All is good except a few things: 1. My Sidecar with iPad 6th generation - very laggy and bad resolution. I suspect it's HEVC codec issue but don't know how to fix this 2. My USB bluetooth dongle - when I put the machine to sleep and wake it up, the bluetooth dongle is turned off and I can't turn it on again without having to plug the dongle out and back in. 3. My WiFi card - if i click Turn Wi-Fi Off, I can't turn it back on unless i restart the machine I've attached my Send me files here. Hope you can help me take a look at what's the problem. Send me iMac -JK.zip Thanks! Joshua
  8. I had a similar issue with you. I managed to install Catalina over my Mojave, and when I tried Sidecar it connected to my iPad 6th gen. BUT the screen quality was very blurry and laggy. I read it might have been a HEVC related issue, so i tinkered with some arguments on Whatevergreen and made things worse. It gave my iPad a black screen and after a few minutes, it said "Device Timed Out". To fix this, I re-added the following arguments shikigva=32 shiki-id=Mac-7BA5B2D9E42DDD94 (which was put earlier to solve my missing JPEG Preview on Finder). I'm not sure if this would help you. MB: Gigabyte B360M CPU: i5-8400 GPU: RX 560 iGPU BIOS setting was off I'm still looking for an answer as to why is my current sidecar experience so blurry and laggy.
  9. Yo MaLd0n, I just realised something... my iMessage / Handoff / Continuity isn't working. I believe it was working earlier. But Airdrop is ok. any advice for this? thanks!
  10. thanks so much MaLd0n. You solved all my Hackintosh issues so far that I couldn't find anywhere online. I've sent a token via PayPal as a thank you for your support!
  11. Hi [ref]MaLd0n[/ref], here it is https://drive.google.com/open?id=1nyyliuXrsSKynwpglX7h5lmOGovhO3Kh. thanks a lot!
  12. Hey MaLd0n, looks like I was using an older version of Clover when I copied it. Updated and now it works! I can sleep and shutdown like I never did before! But I realised that my built-in motherboard audio Realtek ALC892 still doesn't work. Any ideas how I can get it running? I tried to change the inject numbers many times last time but nothing worked. Hope you can help with this one!
  13. Hi MaLd0n thanks for your reply. Unfortunately after replacing my Clover folder I got this error screen as attached.
  14. Hi MaLd0n, first of all, thanks for this forum. I'm quite a new Hackintosh and while I've managed to install Mojave on my i5 8400/ Gigabyte Aorus B360M/ Powercolor RX560 machine, it has a few issues I can never solve, i.e. 1. It can't sleep 2. It can't shutdown 3. Turning off wifi, will cause the wifi cannot be turned on again 4. no audio after upgrading to Mojave from High Sierra I now believe it might have to do with DSDT, but I'm not sure. I managed to get USB3 working after creating a custom SSDT, which took a long time to follow. Can you please help check my "Send me" files and advice me? Sorry, it's too big to be attached, so I uploaded it to Google Drive here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_MwdeOL2vUG4jGQs9PBiEKHt-Q8VkNIM Thanks!
