  1. Thanks for the link. I was indeed curious about the "connector-type" sections of my SSDT-GFX1.aml hotpatch that I previously tried, since it had all 4 frame buffers set as 0008 0000, which is HDMI, but I couldn't find anywhere that confirmed whether or not that connector types were the same between Intel and Nvidia. From looking at that thread, apparently they are. So I put my hotpatch back in place, and tried all of the types, thinking for sure that LVDS or eDP would have worked. Unfortunately, they did not, nor did any of the other ones. I'm really starting to think that the issue is the "DreamColor" display that my laptop uses. That is something that none of the other 8750w Hackintosh users mentioned as having. From reading around, these screens apparently use some sort of unique connection that may not be compatible with a Hackintosh at all. Something about a custom chip that drives them that doesn't take LVDS input, but does output it: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/hp-elitebook-8760w-owners-lounge.581056/page-114 https://www.st.com/en/display-controllers/stdp8028.html The internal display does work if I boot with nv_disable=1. Would booting with that and checking the connections in IORegistryExplorer give any clues for the correct settings? I attached my hotpatch in case it yields any clues. When I use it, it changes the video card ID to GFX1, and the connector type changes I make to NVDA,Display-A@0 also show. SSDT-GFX1.aml.zip
  2. No, it's Nvidia graphics only, no Intel, no Optimus, etc.
  3. Thanks! It was too large to upload here, so I shared it from my Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1OESLzFiVdLd38RfWCg5_x24PpuPJP9LB If I'm doing this wrong, let me know, point me to posting guidelines, etc.
  4. HP EliteBook 8570w with Nvidia Quadro K2000M dedicated graphics. I cannot get the internal display to work with macOS. I've tried all sorts of guides, looked over other people's configs with the same laptop, even tried their configs/ACPI for the heck of it, made a hotpatch, nothing works. It will only display on an external monitor. The graphic card seems to be at PEGP->DGFX, but there is also GFX0 in there, and if nothing is patched the ioreg shows it as GFX0. With patching via config.plist or hotpatches, I can rename it to GFX1 or whatever else, but it makes no difference. I would be very grateful if someone could help me figure this out. I attached my ACPI files, and threw my IORegistryExplorer file in there also in case it helps. I've also ordered a FirePro M4000 card for this laptop that I'm hoping will just work if I can't get this figured out, but I wouldn't be surprised if I have the same problem with that. aml.zip
