I'm trying to update to Big Sur but I cant boot the instalation USB. The last line keeps saying "Thunderbolt 255 PCI" I downloaded the vanilla open core big sur, tried to overide the OC folder with my chipset's and the one in this post.

I have a intel i7 9750H and it does have a iGPU. My hackintosh works fine using the laptop monitor but the HDMI and DP ports dont work.

I installed catalina in my laptop and got most of the things working. I was wondering if there ir some way to use a dual monitor setup. I know the Nvidia is not supported, but maybe I can bypass it. Any tips? If nothing works is it possible to buy some dongle to use HDMI/DP over usb-c to use the second monitor? Thanks.

Hi. I use catalina the lastest update. I noticed a strange behavior: when i boot up with the wifi dongle connected my onboard sound doest work, but if i boot up without it the sound works and i can connect the wifi dongle after and everything works. Anyone knows what might be happening? Thanks!

Hi guys. My hackintosh works just fine, but i want to use filevault to encrypt my data. I tried some guides, copied some .efi and some kext, but after i reboot my pc get stuck in command line saying: lwl0: x34. I leave it there for 30 minutes and nothing. What what i might be doing wrong?

My fans are running at full speeds at all times. I tried installing some kexts, apci but nothing works. After installing the apci HWMonitor shows my fans but with no speeds only '-'.

Eu vi que você é do Rio então vou falar com português. Eu tentei fazer o patch usando o Hackintool, e até aparecem 3 conectores. 1 como LVDS com a cor verde (que imagino que seja o monitor do próprio laptop) e outros dois. Tentei colocar os dois como HDMI e ir trocando o Bus ID, mas nenhum funcionou. Achei estranho que quando clico em cima do LVDS a parte de 'Display Info" aparece com algumas informações, mas quando clico no outros dois ela fica em branco.

I managed to install hackintosh catalina on my laptop but I still havent managed to use an external display. I tried following some topics here, but with no luck. My laptop has a Intel i7 9850H and a GTX 2060. When I plug my laptop to the external monitor, no options appear on the Preferences > Display but the external display HDMI input displays a little icon as if it recognizes the is something plugged in.

How I managed to Hackintosh my laptop: Download bootable image from Olarila and create bootable flash drive: https://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=8685 Replace EFI folder from flash drive EFI partition (search how to mount it) with the one linked in this article. Boot the laptop using the flash drive. I removed other config files so only the one needed to the laptop remains. Press space and make sure the following checkboxes are marked * Verbose (-v) * Set Nvidia to VESA (nv_disable=1) Choose "Boot macOS from Install macOS Catalina" Use Disk Utility to format the drive to APFS. If you want to Dual Boot with windows, format Mac partition to APFS and the Windows partition do ExFat Exit Disk Utility and select Install macOS Proceed with the instalation and select the macOS drive The instalation will reboot before finishing Boot using the flash drive and select "Boot macOS from macOS" The instalation will proceed and reboot and everytime select "Boot macOS from macOS" After some reboots, it will boot into macOS where you have to fill some information and macOS is installed After that, continue following the Olarila tutorial https://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=8685

Since I use my hackintosh in a laptop I want to encrypt both macOS and Windows. I tried using filevault2 on macOS but got some problems to boot. Can I use Veracrypt to encrypt the whole disk and ask the password on startup? Anyone did this?

I managed to make it work using other kext. Im still testing the build, and any problem will ask for help. I'm annotating everything that im doing so that I make a tutorial for my laptop build. I saw someone talking that fot the Killer 2600 he used this kext and tried for my Killer 2500 and worked! RealtekRTL8111-V2.3.0d5.kext.zip

I had the kext installed. Anyway, i removed mine from the /Library/Extensions, used Hackintool to rebuild the cache and restarted. It didnt show at Installed list at hackintool. Used hackintool to install the kext, rebuild, restarted and it showed in my Installed list. Still no Ethernet =(

Yes. I used the EFI partition from Olarila and the had to use de DDST-Olarila.aml so my laptop booted. The AtherosE2000Ethernet is installed, but macOS dont even see my network card.

Good news. Managed to install, make dual boot. Now just need to make some things right. My Ethernet is not working. I tried to install the Atherose2200Ethernet but my cabled connection is not working.
