Blinking screen issue [10.13/10.14/GT730]

Yes, and I also use the latest version of Lilu -
Hi ! So I have an issue with my hackintosh (that makes it unusable, really) It's that the screen will go black for like 1/2 seconds every 5 minutes or so (depends, sometimes it can go as far as 5 per minutes) I found a video showing the issue (not mine, but that's exactly the same thing that's happening to me) "> SPECS: DELL Optiplex 7010 Mini Tower Intel Q77 Chipset Intel Core i5 3570@3.4GHz Gigabyte GeForce GT 730 2GB GDDR5 REV 2.0 12GB DDR3 1600MHz macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 Someone pointed out it could be a power issue, but I really don't think it's that, even tho the power supply recommandation for the GT 730 is 300W, and the Optiplex PSU is 275W, the power supply recommandation is really often overkill (275W = 77W i5+25W GT 730+2 SSD and 1 HDD, doesn't make 275W) And if It was, I would have the same issue on Windows when gaming, fair enough ? I don't ! I can play GPU intensive games (relatively speaking, we're talking about a GT 730 lmao) for HOURS with no problem, my PC is almost running 24/7, and no issue what-so-ever on Windows. I tried both with Mojave and High Sierra (I'm posting in High Sierra 'cause that's what is actually installed on my SSD, but I'll probably use Mojave if I get to fix it) but no matter what, it does the same thing, and also, I think it's important to say that I had the EXACT same issue on my Dell Optiplex 780 (Core 2 Duo), so I believe that's a driver issue I tried with both OS X driver and NVIDIA Web Driver, it does the same thing, but with the webdriver, I don't have working HDMI audio (oddly enough) I'm using the latest version of Lilu+WhatEver Green, here's my CLOVER folder: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Z9Sgj1g6UdNrcBzgZgrGZKsPaXr5LJ5g Let me know if you need me to run "RunMe.app", I'm actually posting this from Windows 10, since macOS is unusable with that problem) Okay, so I think that's it I already posted this on InsanelyMac and OSXLatitude, but I didn't got much help from there, I hope I'll have more luck here Thanks a lot to everyone who will take the time to help me with that

I ended up buying an Optiplex 7010, not Haswell but it's cheaper, with 4 RAM slots (so 12GB of RAM possible as soon as it arrives), USB 3 in the front and 4 SATA ports instead of 3, 2 PCI-e 16x slots, standard ATX power supply (compared to the 8 pin proprietary on the 3020, that means that power supply upgrade is possible, so GPU upgrade is possible for a more beefier one and therefore possibly, making this Dell a cheap gaming system under Windows 10) So I made this pack for Mojave based on what I could find, included = - Clover files: config.plist, kexts, DSDT, SSDT for the i5 3470 - Clover r4722 pkg - tonycrapx86 tutorial in .pages format - BIOS Update to the lastest version at this times (A29 - BIOS settings required for macOS in a text file - Etcher to flash the included FreeDOS image to an USB drive - DSDT patching tools - Olarila RunMe.app to make it easier if the included DSDT won't work - unishit 9 - multishit 10.4 - Clover Configurator. So that should makes life a lot easier for poeple with the Optiplex 7010: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1J2mkxQ5CIz7mzWdKOJcNXmvqHm1NIZ3q/view?usp=sharing By the way, I forgot to delete the "FIX DSDT - USB 3 Clover 7010.rtf" files, it's a memo in case of USB 3 isn't working, but it's not mandatory, the DSDT is already patched and I have yet to test the USB 3.0 ports with the included Clover folder. I will test it when I receive the computer, but in theory everything needed to make the 7010 work under macOS should be included (assuming you already have access to macOS and a macOS Mojave installer) And of course: Please note that I have not any experience with advanced patching like DSDT or SSDT, so these are ones I found on the web, supposed to work with Mojave) By the way, I'll make a "v2" without the use of any tonycrap software or guide, I'll make my own based on how I got the 7010 working, and eventually make a dedicated thread/tutorial about it. PS: Note to admin: If the tonycrapx86 software isn't authorized, just remove the GDrive link, and I'll reupload a version without it.

Yup, I'll do it as soon as I get my new computer It's pretty useless right now as I already have my Core 2 Duo Hackintosh running XD The file attached is just a "pack" I found on tonycrapx86

Thanks, I'll try that as soon as I receive it, If I can buy it (7 left, I can buy it the 29th) For those who want it, I found High Sierra pack for the 3020 (DSDT/SSDT/kexts/config.plist/BIOS Settings/Guide in .pages format) but, I'm sure you could use it with Mojave by updating the kexts: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_MU-GnJpG8WaqCTv-3DqeAw7z_GkuVad/view?usp=sharing

Hi ! So, I am basically looking to get a new computer really soon (in 5 days approximatively, my Core 2 Duo drive me C-R-A-Z-Y) and I have a 160-180 euros budget, pretty tight. But I came across a really nice deal indeed: A Dell Optiplex 3020 MT for 150 euros So, the specs of the computer is: Intel Core i5 4590@3,3GHz Intel HD 4600 (but I'll use my GT 730 anyway) 8GB of RAM (If it comes in 1x8GB, I'll upgrade it to 12, if it comes in 2x4GB, I'll be pretty much stuck, at least for now as I won't be able to buy an 8GB stick right now) 128GB SSD (For Windows, I have a 240GB SSD for Mojave+1TB HDD for Storage) Chipset Intel H81 So I wanna know because I didn't found much about people successfully installing Mojave on these. Technically it should work, but you never know, that's why I'm asking if anybody have successfully installed macOS (High Sierra or Mojave) on the 3020, and if so, can you provide me your Clover folder with kexts, config.plist and DSDT ? If no one did, then I'll just hope it will work, make a DSDT request, and if It doesn't then I will just run Windows, even tho I would prefer macOS. Thanks a lot
