  1. I still cannot make Big Sur installer to run. No matter what I do, whatever quirk settings I change, whatever ACPI aml files I use, whatever ketxs I use....OpenCore 0.6.4 and 0.6.5 gets stucked at this DAMN "[EB|LOG:EXITBS:START]" . It is really frustrating. I already tried the troubleshooting guide for this problem from Dortnia, but the result is the same...."[EB|LOG:EXITBS:START]" . I don't want to give up. I've seen people runnign big sur on hardware like mine.
  2. But did you do anything else with the ACPI ? Did you extract and compile any ssdt or something? Or just used the .aml files provided by Dortania's guide? I think the issue with my config is caused by doing something wrong with the files in the ACPI folder. What files do you have inside it?
  3. Please share your EFI ? I have the same problem, on x79
  4. No, only one socket. My budget was not enwogh for a dual cpu one...here in Argentina it is difficult and expensive to buy technology. Thiss is it:
  5. Ok, I added it and tried: But it panicked again ? It looks the same as before. And noticied it says the last loaded kext is the realtek one...maybe it is causing problems? I hope not, because I don't have other ethernet card.
  6. A Chinese combo from Aliexpress ? CPU: Intel® Xeon® E5-2620 v2 - 6 cores 12 threads. GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 740 1GB (GK107-425-A2 Kepler platform). RAM: 16GB (4x4GB) 1066 Mhz ECC DDR3. Motherboard: Essenc/Atermiter X79G v1.3. macpro6,1 is the SMBIOS settingsa lot of guides suggest for that hardware. It works perfect on Catalina so I guessed it should be ok for BigSur too.
  7. Yes, Clover is upgraded to current version 5127. Kexts are a mix of ne ones and old ones. So now I upgraded every kext to the latest version. Removed what I guess could be problematic, and left only these: It panicked again, but the issue seems a different one. This time I was able to copy the output:
  8. I don't know which could be the problem. Catalina workd just fine with those. Any suggestion on which to remove?
  9. So today, after futil efforts on booting OpenCore, I decided to upgrade my Clover instalation to the latest Clover 5127 version. I fllowed a guide on Youtube, and my Catalina install booted just fine. So far, so good. Now, this upgrade effort was intended for Big Sur installation. I prepared the USB installer and the boot process gets stucked at a kernel panic, after wich the screen shows this message "In Memory Panic Stackshot Succeded ** Bytes Traced 1856" and asks me to report the panic to apple. Any ideas what the problem could be?
  10. Ok, I just followed the OpenCore Vanilla Guide. Now OpenCoree does not list the Installer. I checked if Hfsplus.efi was enabled and present insode Drivers folder, and everything seems to be OK,....but it is not listed by OpenCore. I'm attaching my EFI (I changed the serial number just in case someone else download it) EFI.zip
  11. Thanks! I will try those. I love how, from time to time, the hackintoshing process makes me feel like I've ben fronzen since the 19th century and now someone throws me something that is called computer lol
  12. Hello, I'm trying to get Big Sur installer to booot on a system like yours (Chinese motherboard with BIOS X79GA00E), but my CPU is E5-2620 V2. I tried your EFI but it won't boot the installer. I only see an apple logo with no progress bar, there stucked forever. Do you have any Idea how can I make it work on my CPU?
  13. So i'm curently running Catalina on this PC. Here are the specs: CPU: Intel® Xeon® E5-2620 v2 - 6 cores 12 threads - 2.1Ghz - 2.4Ghz. GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 740 1GB (GK107-425-A2 Kepler platform). RAM: 16GB (4x4GB) 1066 Mhz ECC DDR3. Motherboard/Laptop Make and Model: Essenc X79G v1.3. Audio Codec: Azalia HD Audio / C600/X79 series chipset High Definition Audio Controller Ethernet Card: Realtek RTL8111. BT Card: CSR 4.0 Bluetooth USB card (Qualcomm/Cambridge Silicon Radio CSR8510). BIOS: X79G00E - Aptio Setup Utility Version 2.15.1236. NVME: ADATA Falcon 256GB. Now I want to install Big Sur...but I'm completely lost on how to configure OpenCore or Clover for my PC. Itried Dortania guide several times. And I always get stucked at "[EB|LOG:EXITBS:START]". Then I tried the Clover EFI you provide here for x79 and the result is almos the same, only this time I get stucked at the line of plus signs. It does not boots the BigSur installer nor the working Catalina installation. So I first I tried OpenCore, and got stuckd at "[EB|LOG:EXITBS:START]" Then I tried Clover from here, and got stucked at the plus sign line. Honestly, I don't know what else to do. I'm completely lost. I don't even remember how many times I tried things I found on the web...but seems that none ver tried to install Big Sur on a CPU like mine. I think the problem has to do with the SSDT...but I have no idea how to make one, and the technical documenttion is beyond my comprehension. I hope somone may have a clue. Thanks for reading!
  14. Hello, people! I want to intall Mojave on my PC. I am currently running HighSierra (not Olarilla's) flawlessly. My build is this: Motherboard: Asrock g31m-vs2 Processor: Core2Duo E8500 RAM: 4GB GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5450 512 MB (I had to install the drivers from Sierra cause HighSierra dropped support, but works perfectly, I guess the same can be donde on Mojave. It is as simple as replacing kexts) Thank you! Send me Christophers-iMac.zip
