  1. OpenCore 0.6.0 released some days ago, would there be any benefit if I update it? Also, I have an issue(at least when using USB-C headphones) where after some time of audio playback or just randomly audio gets extremely distorted. To fix this I just have to reload the page, or skip some seconds of the video. And sleep still doesn't work for me, for no reason, but I just got used to shut down the laptop when I'm not using it.
  2. I am using OpenCore, so I think the only solution would be custom patches maybe.
  3. Update: I figured out how to make sleep work, you have to choose sleep, and when the screen turns off close the lid. Sleep works that way, but when I turn it back on it's much slower and curiously no CPU info is loaded into Intel Power Gadget.
  4. At last, I think this is very fine to use as my main OS from now on as with the latest OC EFI I did finally manage to get itlwm working, though I still have one unfortunate problem: sleep still doesn't work for me(or at least the only time I tried it didn't work). Does this have to do something with the motherboard or something else? My laptop model is 81BF, I don't get what's wrong. Also, sometimes on clover after I shut down my laptop for a night and turned it on in the morning it would not boot for whatever reason. I have OpenCore doesn't have this issue. Other than that, thank you for you work and efforts to make Mac possible on this laptop! (if only I could get sleep to work...)
  5. Nice, can't wait to test it out! This gets more stable for me by every update, and now I also got my Intel WiFi(switched from qca) to work!
  6. Hi, I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 520IKB 81BF Specs: Intel Core I5 8250U, UHD 620, 8GB DDR4 2400, Intel Wireless 7265N, Nv MX150(disabled in bios). Sleep does not work, the Wi-Fi card does not work(see problem below) also the trackpad support is not great either. Other things such as fine tuning could be needed, I guess. Also another issue I have is, when I put kexts in /EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other(for example itlwm, and some other intel wireless card kexts), the system won't boot anymore, due to some error which I don't know to recognize or fix. Funny enough is that when I shut down the system, powering it on will leave me with the same error when trying to load kexts. For fixing this I have to boot from the installation USB, then just restart and boot from the internal drive, which works. Also restarts do work, but I'm confused why shutting down the laptop makes it unbootable. Thanks in advance https://filebin.net/2g9wyf5cza278i5t
  7. Hi, does sleep work for you? For me, click on sleep will just get me to the login screen, and closing the lid does put the laptop to sleep, but opening the lid to power the laptop back leaves me with a black screen. I have to force shut it down to be able to use it again.
  8. Hey, I almost got this working "perfectly". Everything that I want works, except a few tidbits. When I close the lid, the fans stop at a certain moment, but not for long as the laptop will power itself on and when I open the lid back the screen no longer works and I need to force restart the laptop. Also, when I shut the laptop down I need to use my bootable usb as booting from clover on the internal drive result in a boot error every time (the stop symbol shows up after it tries to boot for ~35 seconds). Other than that everything works, except some slight bugs/app crashes but I don't have any problem with them. If you have further updated the efi file with further patches I'd be very interested to put them in use. Thanks
  9. Hi, can you tell me what were your steps of installing Catalina? I saw that you have a EFI folder with it and it worked for me in the past, although somehow it didn't boot anymore so I decided to reinstall it. Latest version of olarila 10.15.3 and every clover version installation fails. I already installed it(mac) twice and looked up possible solutions but none worked. I don't really remember how I did it before but now it seems I'm stuck. I have the same exact configuration of yours, except I have 8GB of RAM and the stock wifi card. (15IKB-81BF). Edit: I have finally managed to get clover installed, but replacing the EFI file with the one your provided results in a boot failure: https://imgur.com/E8DWXtM . It's stuck there. Thanks
