After adding some daemons and kexts for my synaptics trackpad and removing my patched DSDT, I get a black crossed out icon immediately upon boot. I put the DSDT back, but it didnt help. I even tried booting from my failsafe USB key, but even that produced the same result. Can anyone help me out? Thank you.

I noticed sound started working. That sure made me happy! I ended up scrapping Mojave Beta and going with High Sierra, but I applied your DSDT anyway, because.. how different can they be? So I rebooted and generated a new 'Send me'. I also did the IO version of RunMe. A couple key things I'd love to get functional are fan control - ideally custom fan curves if that's even possible in macOS and my trackpad doesn't support native gestures.
