Hi, I'm on Catalina and looking to get my DSDT patched. Here are things that does not work: My system's sleep/wake does not work. The system goes into sleep state but when I try to wake it up; it shows blank screen. The 'Core Min' in the Intel Power gadget shows 0.7GHz, but the CPU idles at 1.26GHz. Is it normal or that also has to be patched? Powering off system using hardware button does not work. FaceTime and iMessages does not work. Any solution to that? [ref]MaLd0n[/ref], Ok. Almost everything is working just few things that cause problems. 1. The. laptop doesn't sleep via the power button (hardware button) but it can wake with same button. 2. Screen flickers (Do I need some config.plist edit?), CPU, even after generating SSDT sits at 1.3GHz while it should step-down to 500MHz or so... Please help me with that if possible. Regards

MaLd0n, okay let me check. One more thing, Currently when I login into the Mac, it shows random lines on the display (very small flickers). Do I need some kext or setting for Intel 520 inbuilt GPU? Thanks! Update! Audio is now working. Brightness is fixed CPU frequency, I did as the link said but it still is at 1.3GHz Sleep/Wake works but I cannot wake the laptop via laptop keyboard or external wired USB mouse . Is there any way that can be fixed using some kind of config.plist edit or DSDT patch? Touchpad works but multi-gesture are not working (especially three finger gesture). Do I need some special kext for that also? The screen flickers a very little . Am I missing some kext for video? Regards!

MaLd0n, I've removed the VoodooTSCSync.kext and installed the DSDT file by copying the file you sent to the ACPI/patched folder. So far: Brightness works by going to settings but doesn't work with the F buttons. F10 and F11 are brightness buttons on the laptop. Sleep/Wake works, I've tested it by closing/opening laptop lid. Audio is still not working (Do I need some kext for that or DSDT settings can fix it)? CPU frequency at idle is 1.30GHz. While in Windows the CPU could go down to 0.6GHz. Can this be fixed using DSDT patch to improve the battery life and reduce the heat (currently laptop gets quite hot) If possible, please generate a DSDT patch to fix the above issues. Thank you! Hi, I've managed to install 10.15 beta (10.14.6 was somehow failing to install). Here's my "Send Me" file. It would be very helpful if you can patch DSDT for this laptop. Currently the Sleep/Wake functionality, Audio, Brightness, Touchpad, Wifi are badly broken. It would be really great if maximum of these can be fixed. Thanks!
