    make sure your bios is current as some need it to be an make sure you adjust you bios as some setting need changing with some of these Load Optimized Defaults If your CPU supports VT-d, disable it If your system has CFG-Lock, disable it If your system has Secure Boot Mode, disable it Set OS Type to Other OS If your system has IO SerialPort, disable it Set XHCI Handoff to Enabled also som hp laptops have hidden advance setting select f10+A but press A immediately after pressing f10 use 2 hands to select as it changes fast

    i have i7 8700 also same igpu hd630 an i used imac 18.3 an also imac pro 1,1 with a rx 580 now im wondering an hoping its not a xfx brand as they do cause issues

    if so im wondering now that maybe that your gpu setttings are not correct in the bios for a reference you can have a look at mine to test if your using high sierra with the web drivers you have to have nvidiaweb selected in the system parameters an i do not believe that in the acpi section under the drop OEM_DSM needs to be selected

    try add debug=0x100 to boot args an then try remove in the acpi fixes

    try this clover config copy.plist is the orignal in the folder so if an issues you can select it in the options section of the boot screen in config CLOVER.zip

    imac 18,3 or imac pro 1,1 are the best as they are for coffeelake cpu

    best is for 3rd party kexts to be in the clover/kexts/other as is there comes an issue you can block the kext in the options section of clover boot screen other than trying through terminal

    you can use the same serial you have but i would suggest testing the clover folder as it has the proper drivers an kexts that are needed an see if that help also as its best for Olarila images

    it so i can see the setting in the clover folder to help make sure things are set correctly an also it help maldon to complete a dsdt patching to help your system be stable an work well

    i would recommend the sapphire rx 590 as it is compared to a 1070 an is at a good price under $300 usd if im correct the only draw back of it is not supported in sierra

    ive seen other without oc do just fine with i7 8700k an z370-390 an they have said they have good results all in all its how you set your acceleration for the igpu an dgpu as i am sure that you know that your gtx card will only work with high sierra an not mojave
