I am getting the same error right after it confirms my ethernet card is OK. did you solve this?

my apologies for posting under another sierra install version, this is the one I actually am trying to install. I have been booting starting with just -v. It got stuck pretty fast. Then, i booted -v cpus=1. It seems to be getting stuck on my ethernet which is ​Realtek I can see by mounting the EFI partition that in clover\kexts\other i have RealtekRTL8111.kext which seems to be the right one from what I can tell by research. I added boot flag kext-dev-mod=1 which led me to believe it would load that kext. I could be wrong, I am a newbie to this. Here is the latest screen shot from the boot where it gets stuck.

Still stuck. I have a general question. From the output, is it fair to say where it gets stuck is what the problem is? Do I just keep trying different boot settings till I finally figure out the right configuration? Thank you in advance!

I downloaded this and ran it just now with the following flags: ​-v cpus=1 dart=0 slide=0. I got the apple logo, then the progress indicator filling slowly. Then I got the screen with the circle with the line through it. Any ideas?

No, I do not think I can use the AMD GPU from what I have read in other posts from people with the same hardware configurations I have. Can I post two URLs which I read that led me to eventually attempt this guide here?

I have not, but I am getting it and will try. Question regarding the bios. I know some things have to be disabled. This guide says nothing about it. I changed nothing, could it be something there?

Hi all. New to the site. I am trying to use this guide and install macOS Sierra 10.12 on an hp dv6-6190-us. I know that it should work because my machine meets the hardware requirements. I found this installation guide via another person who successfully installed onto an HP Pavilion dv6-6196ep, which has the same hardware and bios as mine. During installation I get the black screen. I am going to read through all the posts to see if there is a solution, but i figured post to begin a conversation for some assistance(much appreciated in advance!). I did perform this step seen below which I found in the "Common problems booting the installer" link, but is this specific to an nVidia? I have an AMD ​Radeon HD 6770M. nVidia Black screen after boot verbose Change Board-ID in Clover options (SMBIOS menu) by a compatible one, like Mac-FC02E91DDD3FA6A4 viewtopic.php?f=36&t=4920 I took video of the entire install process and can posts screen shots. I am posting one, which is right before the black screen. I am hoping I can resolve this and move forward with the install. Thank you!
