Hi MaLd0n,
I'm brand new to the Hackintosh scene and have ordered some hardware today using a "Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3" Z68 motherboard.
I saw you have an OSX version of AutoPatcher for Z68, but no Windows version. How do I extract my DSDT in OSX correctly to patch, as if I understand correctly (which I may not!!) to get into OSX I will need to use a DSDT from somewhere and when extracting my data using Auto-Patcher, it will use the running DSDT as the basis for the extract, and will therefore not be a perfect extract.
Apologies if I am misunderstanding, and thank you for all the fantastic work you are doing.
Edit: would the best option be to install Win7 first and use Everest/AIDA64 to generate an acpi_dsdt.bin and run that through Auto-Patcher?
Edit 2: Might have misunderstood - do I just need to run the z68 version of AutoPatcher on first install of Snow Leopard prior to running multishit?
Mark
