  1. WorkinProgress.zipHey guys.... I have a bit of problems with the DSDT and SSDT here.. Long time user here.. Not too many post ive done, but this forum has made me learn so much! I am in the need of help. I have here two sets of DSDT+SSDT First one is actually working perfect, with exception of disabling the Nvidia Card in this Optimus enabled Laptop. Specifications: Cpu: Intel Core i7 @ 2.56GHz Ram (8GB) Graphics:Intel HD4400 and Nvidia Geforce 820m Audio: Realtek Alc233 (do i have to use audio layout 3, which is what i inject in clover or should i use 12? ) I am trying to work on the second set because I did a bios update, so I've re extracted all the acpi files.. They are error free at this point, and I've renamed GFX0 to IGPU and B0D3 to HDAU I've so successfully booted with full qe/ci Thing is when i try to apply the battery patch for this laptop (Asus Vivo book patch) it gives me errors.. When i try to apply the brightness patch for haswell it doesnt let me... The sound doesnt work... So far with this new set I've only got speedstep and qe/ci, which are very important, but I would really like if someone could help me with battery percentage, audio, nvidia card disabling and brightness What is it that the old ACPI files have that make it work and the new ones dont??? Thanks in advance Send me Joe’s MacBook Pro.zip
  2. Eu tenho o mesmo problema mano! Se actualizar ou instalar por cima faz a mesma coisa!! Deverias fazer boot coma opçao -v para ter um verbose boot e saber o que esta errado! A mim dame infinitos Sanbox deny-file-read data error e entao o pc fica em loopin e nao consegue inicializar o ambiente grafico. Resolvi reinstalar e ficar com O 10.10.1 a funcionar as mil maravilhas
Hip Hip Hooray! Meu hardware é um Asus X550LD Intel Core i7 (native speedstep) Intel HD 4400 (full qe/ci) Nvidia Geforce 820m Adjunto os arquivos da minha efi/clover/acpi/patched Muito obrigado de antemao patched.zip config.plist.zip
  4. artur-pt The SSDT you sent me contained a lot of errors.. Not the DSDT though Is that the reason maybe why the changes you made didn't disable the card?? Thank you!!
  5. Hey Bro All working like before, perfect hackintosh that's running better than my girlfriend's Macbook Pro 2012 The NVIDIA card is in the same state I think, because it still show up as a screen Using your DSDT and SSDT led me to a better performance overall. I attach the image of my system information,in the graphics department. Thanks a lot for your efforts.
  6. Hello users of this amazing forum! I am a long time reader and I've always admired the talent of the moderators here, we've come a long way... I've successfully set up a dual boot between windows 8.1 and OS X 10.10.4, using Clover. I've an ASUS X550LDV with the following specs: Intel core i7(haswell) Intel HD4400 Nvidia geforce 820m Realtek ALC233 I've managed to get everything working properly, full qe/ci, ethernet, sound, headphones, touchpad, usb, brightness, fn keys. The only thing I've left to do is patch my dsdt so that the Nvidia card is disabled with OS X, to save some battery and lower the temperature. It's been 6 months of trial and error on this computer cause I've never been good at ACPI language or DSDT patching. I would appreciate a lot if anyone would take the DSDT I've attached and Disable NVIDIA. Thanks so much ioreg.zip patched-dsdt+ssdt0.zip
  7. I just posted in english so anyone with my hardware can understand. I do know how to use patched SSDT and DSDT, I just dont know how to patch them properly, thats why I came here for help. After using the DSDT and SSDT you sent me I got brightness working, as well as speedstepping, and after me messing around with some kexts I am able to get audio after sleep. The only problem I cant fix is how to disable the NVIDIA card, and Ive tried many different ways, removing the kexts, nv_disable=1, but it keeps eating my battery, so I know its a dsdt thing. I ask for your understanding, and Im sure you were a noob with DSDTs at some point in your experience. Thanks any which way
  8. Edit: I'm sorry I forgot to drop the SSDT. Now I have brightness working and the battery meter reports 2h left of battery, but still no percentage, NVIDIA card still shows up in my system report, audio not working after sleep, still garbled boot screen, but sleep seems to be working much better. I hope you could solve these problems, and make this Hackintosh work better. Obrigadao por tudo mano
  9. Hey artur, Thanks for this, but I have put it in EFI/Clover/acpi/patched and changed my config.plist to drop all tables, but the system boots the same way than before, no notable differences. I would like to know if you have applied the patches to the dsdt or not, cause i really don't have the skill required to fix errors of compile. Thanks for the quick reply and for your attention
  10. Send me Joe’s MacBook Pro.zipHi guys! I dont know if to post in portuguese or english, but i guess english will do. I have a ASUS X550LDV with: Intel core i7 (Haswell) Intel HD4400 Nvidia Geforce 820m Realtek ALC233 Realtek RTL8111 Atheros 9485 Currently i am very happy with my triple boot situation, thanks to Clover, and everything works so much better than with Chameleon. I have OS X Yosemite in one partition, with full qe/ci working, native resolution, the 8gb RAM working as well, ethernet is super fast, and touchpad behaves amazingly. For the problems I have I know I need a patched dsdt in my clover efi folder (no hope for wifi, got myself a lil usb one), which are no brightness control, garbled boot screen at 2nd stage, I also need help disabling NVIDIA card for better battery life, would also need help with the battery meter not displaying percentage, and with the audio that doesnt work after sleep, and the headphone/microphone port isn't working. I am a big time noob when it comes to dsdt and ssdt, so I would really appreciate if someone would kindly fix my dsdt to get this hack up and running. Below I attach the send me file Thank you so much for this amzaing community
