Could you post a good link for an awesOme tutorial on how to patch id like to know how to do it myself so i dont have to bother other people when it comes to something like this

I took a picture of the boot errors it waits on when booting without the DSDT but it didn't turn out to well but ill post it anyway. It boots but slowly.

So I had to reinstall when i got home because i had a boot error that i couldn't get around i finally got it reinstalled and tried the DSDT but it won't boot I get pthread support aborts when primitive kernels misused. Ill post a new copy of my DSDT and IOReg. Thanks for a lll of your help sorry for the delayed reply! DSDT.zip IOReg.zip

i can boot without DSDT but i would like to learn how to patch it correctly anyway because i plan on upgrading my mobo eventually but can't afford it right now.

I can boot without it i would just like to make a working One and learn the process

I booted into my windows 8.1 and extracted a copy of my DSDT using RWEVERYTHING it should be more correct. DSDT.aml.zip

I used IOJones and made another copy and its smaller so here it is. IOReg.zip

The extracted DSDT is attached below but my IOReg"s zip file is 2.6mb and won't let me upload it DSDT.aml.zip

Nevermind i figured out how to get the IOReg to easy!

I can extract an original copy of my dsdt no problem with DSDT editor app

This may sound stupid and i am sorry for that but how do i get a copy of my ioreg?

Ok thanks for the tip i can just extract it with the dsdt editor correct? And if i use multishit on mavericks and choose something other than the dsdt option can i still use a dsdt?

Hi I downloaded a patched DSDT for my System and i am running Mavericks 10.9.0 have only tried booting with -v and GraphicsEnabler=Yes it finishes booting then screen loses its signal there are a few boot errors but I am not fast enough to write them down and not quite sure if i can do a screenshot. Still a beginner but really interested in getting my system working as good as i possibly can and learning as much as i can at the same time. I also have a working version of mavericks that i have not edited yet and it boots normally with more boot errors but still works. Also running Windows 8.1 on a separate HD and hopefully sooner than later will also have ubuntu or some other linux based system on a partition on the same drive. Any help greatly appreciated.
