Hi,
First here are my computer specs:
CPU: i5 3570k
Mobo: Asrock z77 Ex4
GPU: HD 6850
I'm running into a problem which I can consistently recreate, and I thought if someone explained to me what was happening, I might be able to figure out how to solve my problem.
Before:
I used one usb to create a bootable yosemite installer as seen in http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=5009
I spent a really long time mucking around with multishit, ddst, ssdt, config.plist and kexts cause i was impatient to boot osx without a usb and also had no clue.
Now:
Some guides on clover tell you to install clover on a usb and tweak config.plist and other files, and when successful to copy these files to the harddrive.
So I thought maybe I should try this? and this is how it went:
Boot with yosemite installer usb => booted all the way
Boot with clover usb => booted to clover, hanged on the uuid part in the beginning
Boot with yosemite installer usb => kernel panic with the AppleIntelCpuManagement thing
Why is the yosemite installer usb booting osx but the clover usb fails?
Also is there something I'm not understanding, about what the clover usb is doing?
Thanks,
Ryan
