Yosemite installation via pen drive with Clover

I'm trying to get it running on on an intel i3 nuc and cannot get to the setup screen. im using the clover yosemite raw image from tpb written to a flash drive. i have tried enabling usb ownership in clover boot options. when i select boot os x the machine reboots shortly after.
