Hello guys, I got an Acer E1-571 i3 HD 4000 laptop working fine with Mavericks 10.9.1. The only "problem" I got is with HDMI audio. Now I'm using voodoohda 2.8.4 and it works quite fine (headphone, speakers, microphone) but..even the hdmi audio is recognized, when I connect my laptop to my TV and I select Sound->Output->Digital-out (HDMI) I can't hear anything (while the video works perfectly and even I pump up the tv volume)... I had already tested this combination and it doesn't work. This evening I will give a try on ML, now I'm testing on SL (they are both installed on same machine). I'll let you know, thanks. UPDATE: @Mirone still no good news... I ported my kext on ML but nothing changed: 1. It only accept "line-in" value on config data (81). using "mic" (A1) the input source disappears. 2. Hi guys, I trying to patch on my self AppleHDA.kext but I can't get working the front microphone. I tried several ways modifying the config data and/or the platform.xml and/or layoutxx.xml. On my mb (ga-h61m-s2pv rev. 2, FD bios) I got 3 classical jacks (line in, line out, mic) and 2 jacks on chassis (headphones and mic). Everything works fine except the front microphone. It seems that it doesn't like the microphones...if change the pin config value on 71eXY from 81 (line out) to A1 (microphone) I lose 1 or more IN connections. Hello Arthur_pt, I'm on SL 10.6.8 with the same mb and firmware and I tried to use your dsdt file but it doesn't work on my os (KP). So I extracted and patched the dsdt on my self but I didn't get satisfying results (I implemented your code regarding the audio chipset and it was the only thing really working better). Without any dsdt installed I got big trouble with my wifi card, a d-link DWA-547, atheros chipset AR5008. It's recognized as Airport and it shows all the neighbours networks but, after connected, it freeze my pc in a while, even it's using the vanilla kexts. Previously I used the same card, ever in SL, with full success (but with legacy kernel, 32 bit mode and another mb). Can you help me?
