  1. Hello..... Can someone can someone Please guide me through the DSDT Process. I am hoping the correct DSDT will fix the issues that i have. The issues that i have are 1)Trackpad/Pointstick 2)Geekbench 5 shows much poorer performance compared to my desktop, perhaps DSDT will optimize it. 3)Bluetooth not showing up in system information properly I have Linked is my Sendme ZIP file hoping to resolve my issues it was too large to upload directly, so i used a google drive account. original file..... https://drive.google.com/open?id=17xYWjzC4jD_iNW6hfPcI4PBWc0Na3veS Edit: Please note I Changed the SMBIOS to the 16 Inch MBP afterwards, added RAM and a NVME on Slot3 UPDATED FILE.... https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_b-SmlamXUrUDcYkJLWjLL644tjuPchH if needed i can make another RUNME and post it onto the Google drive link as well. here is a overview of my systems and the details of what is functioning properly, can someone please tell me what i am missing. -The computer is a Dell Precision 7740 Laptop, -32gb (2 X 16gb) dual channel ram in DIMM A and DIMM C and shows in bios as dual channel. -Booting from WD 500GB 2.5 inch 7200 RPM HDD in Slot 4, parts for converting Slot4 (currently has interposer to use 2.5 inch 7200RPM Drive) to NVME are on backorder. -Samsung EVO 970 1 TB NVME installed into Slot 3, -Intel 630 Video, -Clover 5100, -Onboard Gigabit Ethernet which works properly and a -Audio is working via Voodoo. -Swapped Intel AX wifi/bt , with the DW1560. Wifi worked instantly, Bluetooth is not registering. -The trackpad/pointing stick is not, so i am using external wireless logitech with unifying usb receiver with laser mouse. Someone from Dell told me it was part of the Palmrest made by COMPAL, i need help with the trackpad/pointing stick I tried to use Voodooi2c, however i was unable to get it to work. I tried method 2 (ELAN) From https://techposts.org/quick-fix-macos-mojave-trackpad-gestures-hackintosh-guides , The trackpad has limited functionality but only during the Olarila animation screen when booting. Perhaps one of the patches need to change inside of clover configurator? Thank you
  2. is there a utility that will automatically install/move files from the older - Drivers64uefi to new drivers folder, as well as - kexts from the old structure to OTHER - Check if any files were put into S/L/E and move to the correct kexts\OTHER folder and fix permissions if/when needed ? in the past i would use clover configurator to manually install kexts and drivers, since the structure change i had problems i had to figure out what (Reverse engineer) was done but i think there may have been permission errors. Which is why i am looking for tool to automate the changes that need to be done. Thanks.
  3. I got it to ( Dell Inspiron -17 3780) work by checking off a NVRAM option, after i got it to work i discovered that it a 10/100 ethernet on the system board. I decided to return it and will get a different Model. Thanks.
  4. krisrob34 did you add permissions for the runme app under the Apple Menu ->System Preferences -> Security and Privacy -> Privacy Tab ? You need to add Accessibility as well as Full Access. then when you run the app it will ask you to confirm. the app will create the sendme file on your desktop.
  5. HI I have a Dell Inspiron 3780, -8th Generation Intel Core i7-8565U -Intel UHD Graphics 620 with a AMD RX-520/2GB DDR5 -16GB Ram, Realtek ALC3204 Audio -256GB M.2 2280 NVME w/2tb 5400 mechanical Drive for data -Onboard Ethernet works, i will have to swap the Wifi/BT card after i work out the remaining issues I Had a few problems that i had to overcome (Bitlocker spanning both Drives, Hardware Setup issues... TPM, Secure boot, PT etc.. ). Eventually i got the system to load by using config2 along with the Dell SMBIOS option in patching. To get it to boot directly from the HD, I had to copy Config2 to EFI on HD to boot and select the same as USB Stick) I used ubuntu to create a DSDT.aml file using (https://github.com/RehabMan/HP-ProBook-4x30s-DSDT-Patch/wiki/How-to-patch-your-DSDT) sudo cat /sys/firmware/acpi/tables/DSDT >dsdt.aml . method. opened the file with maciASL witch gave errors and would not finish compiling properly. When i tried to upload the sendme zip i received a error that the file is too large. 5.5 MB is the file size... which files should i remove inside the zip to send to you? Thanks. I was able to compress into a .7Z file so its now 4MB.... i will try that Added in 44 minutes 3 seconds: HI I have a Dell Inspiron 3780, -8th Generation Intel Core i7-8565U -Intel UHD Graphics 620 with a AMD RX-520/2GB DDR5 -16GB Ram, Realtek ALC3204 Audio -256GB M.2 2280 NVME w/2tb 5400 mechanical Drive for data -Onboard Ethernet works, i will have to swap the Wifi/BT card after i work out the remaining issues I Had a few problems that i had to overcome (Bitlocker spanning both Drives, Hardware Setup issues... 6. HI, i was not able to get the HPDV7 (Ivy Bridge) to work. I decided to buy a new Dell Laptop instead. I will create a SendMe zip file and send it along with information about the Dell. Thanks.
  7. Hi, I have a HPdv7 ivy bridge laptop, with a i7 3610 cpu, 16gb ram Nvidia gt650/intel4000. etc.. i made the bootable usb, installed image onto a 320GB 7200rpm HDD. then let it reboot followed the directions to remove hibernation via the 2 hibernation scripts. installed the clover onto the hd, i got a kernel panic, when booting from the hd (yes, i used config2 ) my guess is that the DSDT needs modification. please note i am able to boot from the usb and start the image from the hd. i have attached the sendme file as well as a sysinfo file that i made from a linux disto... thanks. Send me admins-MacBook-Air.zip sysinfo-DiscoDingo-noserials.txt
  8. i tried this one... dsdt patcher gui from http://pcwizcomputer.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=150&Itemid=48 and it seemed to work. i was hesitant because it did no mention lion. but it still worked. what inputs outputs show up in system preferences ? did you try the appleazila driver ?
  9. Jed did you get the Sleep (energy saver) to work in the DSDT? I Have a dx58so, i7-920, 6bm Ram, Powercolor HD4870, I used the AppleAzila for audio and E100e for Ethernet, Both seem to be working without any issues.. The Only issue is Powermanagement.. When the System goes to sleep from the energy saver the system does not wake. I am assuming its DSDT. I hope your Audio and Ethernet is working for you. Too bad there isnt a more automated way to extract and patch the DSDT. Does anyone have a good DSDT guide on how to create and modify?
  10. I have DX58SO, with i7-920 CPU, 6GB Triple Channel Ram, GT9500 1Analog/1DVI Video. I Used unishit to install the OS and the Lion version of multishit (I copied all of the OS Updates, multishit and installation files onto the unishit USB Drive First) to install the bootloader and most of the drivers. When I used multishit, I had to use EASYBEAST because i am having a problem with the DSDT, Then I Had to use the E1000e LAN Driver and the ApplieAzilla Audio Kext using kext helper and had to set the System Power management to never because the system does not come out of sleep properly. I recently found a DSDT inside of the DX58SO installer package and will the auto patcher and see if i get the DSDT to function and have my energy saving setting to work properly. But I am going to wait untill i get a Dual DVI Video card working properly. I Hope this Helped.
