Hi,
New to this hackintosh community so its a steep learning curve, been a PC user for 20 years. I have created my DSDT file using patches in folder "Notebook Core 2 ICH8" as i have an HP Core 2 Duo with Intel chipset ICH8.
I compiled the DSDT after applying patches and receive 5 errors -
2984 Warning Not all control paths return a value (_HOT)
2984 Warning Reserved method must return a value (Integer required for _HOT)
2998 Warning Not all control paths return a value (_CRT)
2998 Warning Reserved method must return a value (Integer required for _CRT)
6691 Warning Not all control paths return a value (_Q16)
Laptop - HP Pavillion DV6853ea
Graphics - Nvidia Geforce 8400m GS
Can anyone help me with the errors i have?
I have attached my unedited DSDT file and patched aml file with warnings.
