  4. Wow, thanks for that! Ok so I did the steps above, and rebooted in -v mode, but I get a 'still waiting for root device' error, and it doesn't boot. However, when I boot using the bootcd, it does boot. Any ideas? Thanks again!

  7. So use that as the bootcd instead of Hackboot?
  8. Can anyone help with this... I have an Asus mobo, Striker Extreme Nvidia 680i Chipset. Will this work for me? I notice my mobo isnt on the list at the top. It does not support ACHI, and i cant get SATA HDD's to appear in Disk Utility for installation. Thanks ctuprde
