I installed OSX 10.6.3 to an IDE HDD successfully using Nawcoms Mod CD. Everything worked fine, until i restarted and plugged in my other SATA drives. They appear in finder, but when i browse through them the PC locks up and i cant do anything. I am using the 64bit AppleNForceATA.kext, and everything was working perfectly until i plugged in the SATA drives. Any ideas?

Cant boot from disc as i get pci config error even using npci=0x2000 cant boot normally as still waiting for root device error any way of getting back in to install nforceata kext?

i get a black screen when restart after update to 10.6.8. updated latest fermi drivers please help!

Will i be able to install on a SATA drive if my mobo does not have AHCI?

Still cant get full res to work, and cant boot up unless arch=i386 is used. This all changed after updating to 10.6.8 and changing to appleNforceATA. kext version 1.04 Any ideas?

Ok did that and it booted, but now I've lost gpu support as resolution is not at max. ??

update your AppleNforceAta old bug Updated applenforce to 1.04 successfully, and installed update, but cant boot to it. Hangs at this screen at startup.

This seems to work now.... However, when i go to do software update - Remote Desktop Client Update & Mac OSX Update 10.6.8 I get a kernel panic. Any ideas as to what it could be? Cheers

This is really wierd! Booting from CD everything works fine and that uses AppleNForceATA, but booting from HDD doesnt, and it uses exactly same kext and version? WTF?

Okay, removed AppleATA by moving to trash, installed super and I get this error when booting. Kext.com nvidia.driver.Super force ata - library kext.com.apple.kernel.iokit not compatible with requested version 9.0.0. Do I need to find an earlier version or something? Thanks

I still get computer freeze when I read from a SATA drive, so could I get some guidance to install different kexts? I'm not sure how to put new ones In and make the pc boot with them instead of the AppleNForceATA.

All sorted! Everything works now, apart from the restart, which hangs at the end... Also, should sleep mode work?
