Hi artur-pt, Thank you very much, the dsdt is working really good (no kp after several reboots). The only issue now is brightness control. It is not working after boot or restart (the screen is dimmed, moving the slider has no effect). I have to put the laptop to sleep and wake up to get brightness control working, it was the same with the previous dsdt. Please see if something can be done about it. Your help is highly appreciated.

Hi artur-pt, I'm using a dsdt you patched for intel hd graphics. The graphics is working real good but sometimes I get KP related to ionetworking(alexethernet) and Ioaudio (voodoohda). I'm wondering if you could patch my dsdt with: 1-voodoohda V 2.7.2 for the VIA VT2021 2- alexethernet 3- atheros AR9285 wifi My dsdt is attached. Thanks in advance DSDT.aml.zip

Hi artur, Thanks for the quick reply. I don't think it will work with mavericks. Never seen a post in the hackintosh forums of someone with a working hd 2500 and mavericks. Have a nice day

Hi artur-pt, This is zalbeg again, I'm wondering if my intel hd 2500 could work with mavericks. I tried the dsdt you provided with 10.9.2 fresh install, the graphics isn't working (it works good with 10.8.3). Attached is my Send me.zip, please see if you can make it work with mavericks. Hi artur-pt, I'm trying to better understand DSDT compiling and fixing errors and see if I can further optimize my system. Attached is my untouched DSDT extracted in linux which returns 4 errors after compiling in dsdt editor. If you could please just compile and fix the errors (without applying any patches) would be a great help for me. The errors are: Line 34 name already exists in scope (\TNOT) Line 6677 syntax error, unexpected PARSEOP_LOCAL2 Line 7553 syntax error, unexpected PARSEOP_INTEGER expected ‘)’ Line 7553 syntax error, unexpected PARSEOP_INTEGER expected ‘)’ The last 2 errors are the same yet they show up in two lines after compilation in dsdt editor. Also if you can please provide instructions on how to fix these errors. Thanks in advance DSDT.zip

Hi artur-pt, Thanks for the advice, I always had random kp's with voodoo/ioaudiofamily/iopcifamilyplugins. I'll remove the applehda and see What happens. As of now I have a 99% working hackintosh (100% for me). There are 2 minor issues I would like your input on: 1- When I boot to my ml partition,seconds before reaching the desktop the gray apple screen gets darker and the desktop zooms in with low brightness and stays like that. the brightness slider moves but has no effect but when I put the computer to sleep manually or close/open the lid the screen brightness goes 100% and the slider works. 2- Automatic sleep only works with the display (fan keeps spinning). It works fine manually and when I close the lid. As I said these are really minor issues but if you can think of any fixes please don't hesitate to mention. Thanks again

To: artur-pt Thank you very much for the prompt answer, after months of hackintoshing I finally got qe/ci working using your dsdt.aml (don't know how to express my thanks), sleep is working too. I even have a working brightness control slider. The only issue I'm having now is no sound because I had to delete my voodoo HDA kext which was causing kernel panic with your dsdt. I guess I have to use original apple kexts for audio. Thank u very much again. PS: If you have any advice on the audio or the kexts to use with the dsdt you provided please post here. Update: Got the audio working with reinstalling voodoo HDA and permission repair.

Hi, I'm having trouble compiling/patching my DSDT/SSDT and there is no pre-editedt DSDT available for my laptop. I would like to get my graphics card hd2500 patched for (QE/CI) and fix sleep. Sleep is not working with sleep enabler kexts or p and c states checked in chameleon wizard. Any help would be highly appreciated. PS: my graphics card is working halfway with a modified geforce.kext but no qe/ci. Send me .zip
