Thank you for your willingness to assist me, you are awesome

Thank you, with the new AppleHDA and DSDT it looks the same as before, kext not loaded. In Console I get: kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDAController at line 483

artur-pt guided me to you Mirone, maybe you can help me to find out if AppleHDA can work with my computer. I can get sound with VoodooHDA but the volume is really low, and If i use "Gain" from settings I start to hear noise. I experimented with my dsdt and AppleHDA to get them working, last thing that happened was KP, and the best thing that I can get is "Intel High Definition Audio: DeviceID:12(I suppose is the layout 12 from the dsdt) in System Informations. I don't have any working applehda.kext so I modified one with different data and I got nothing. I got everything I think to make it work:codec_dump.txt, codec_dump.txt.svg, codec_dump_dec (etc), device and vendor ids from Aida64, pin configs from voodoohda that I modified. I need some assistance with this, I want some basic functions with AppleHDA. I am on Mavericks 10.9 artur-pt fixed my DSDT and now it looks like this, I can observe with "System Info" AppleHDA.kext not loaded. (I used http://Olarila.com/files/10.9/Audio/AppleHDA/ALC883/ALC883.zip) I attached my files that I use: codec_dump.txt, ids, pictures from Aida, dsdt, etc. If you want to assist me with this, please do. I made progress: I installed clover to see if the sleep issue, restart and shutdown has something to do with the bootloader that I use.Same results with chameleon and clover. I "Disabled" "USB Legacy" (in description is mentioning support for mouse and keyboard) in my bios.(now restart and shutdown works and are instant) Now I can't use my keyboard in the chameleon menu. The computer will sleep now, but there is a but, it will not wake up from keyboard(I checked to see if it has to do with the Disabled function USB Legacy in my bios, I can still wake up windows with my keyboard even with USB Legacy Off in my bios ). The computer is waking up and resuming if I push the power button, and another but, my display is in stand by(I checked if the computer is frozen, but I hear sounds when I press the volume keys on my keyboard) and I have to reboot. I messed with darkwake and usbbusfix and I see no changes. I still get this: ACPI: sleep states S3 S4 S5 USBF: 2.688 AppleUSBEHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 2.689 AppleUSBEHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 2.739 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep[RealtekRTL81xx:init] Using updated PHY config method USBF: 2.745 USBF: 2.745 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleepAppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 2.746 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 2.746 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 2.748 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 2.751 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 2.753 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 2.756 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 2.768 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep I can see that only the first two lines are AppleUSBEHCI and the rest are AppleUSBOHCI Sometimes I get this USBF: 0.261 We could not find a corresponding USB EHCI controller for our OHCI controller at PCI device number19 My OSX will behave the same even with the additional error above. My motherboard has 4 USB at the back and some internals "3 x USB 2.0 connector supports additional 6 USB 2.0 ports ". So I have 10 USB ports in total and 10 AppleUSBOHCI errors, and 2 AppleUSBEHCI errors(in bios I have the option to disable "USB EHCI Controller" the description says "support for the usb 2.0". My GPU is ATI 4870. I timed the sleep to easily collect info from the Console and I got this after I press the power button to wake up the computer: 1/2/14 5:50:27.000 PM kernel[0]: Wake reason: ? 1/2/14 5:50:27.000 PM kernel[0]: SMC::setPowerState ERROR: smcPublishSleepCause failed (kSMCKeyNotFound) 1/2/14 5:50:27.000 PM kernel[0]: USBF: 387. 4 AppleUSBEHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep 1/2/14 5:50:27.000 PM kernel[0]: USBF: 387. 19 USBF: 387. 19 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleepAppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep 1/2/14 5:50:27.000 PM kernel[0]: USBF: 387. 19 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep 1/2/14 5:50:27.000 PM kernel[0]: USBF: 387. 19 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep 1/2/14 5:50:27.000 PM kernel[0]: USBF: 387. 19 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep 1/2/14 5:50:28.680 PM configd[18]: LINKLOCAL en0: parent has no IP 1/2/14 5:50:31.329 PM configd[18]: network changed: v4(en0-:192.168.1.123) v6(en0-:2a02:2f09:338a:600:21f:c6ff:feb5:fcb3) DNS- Proxy- 1/2/14 5:50:31.352 PM configd[18]: setting hostname to "Radus-iMac.local" 1/2/14 5:50:31.459 PM configd[18]: network changed: v4(en0+:192.168.1.123) DNS+ Proxy+ SMB 1/2/14 5:50:31.476 PM configd[18]: setting hostname to "radus-imac.lan" 1/2/14 5:50:31.000 PM kernel[0]: considerRebuildOfPrelinkedKernel prebuild rebuild has expired 1/2/14 5:50:31.000 PM kernel[0]: USBMSC Identifier (non-unique): 3512083103000299 0x1687 0x3257 0x1100, 2 1/2/14 5:50:33.000 PM kernel[0]: USB Sound assertion in AppleUSBAudioEngine at line 1573 1/2/14 5:50:33.552 PM configd[18]: network changed: v4(en0:192.168.1.123) v6(en0+:2a02:2f09:338a:600:11ee:45fc:779f:ff7e) DNS! Can someone take a look at my fresh dsdt from m2a-vm ? I run Mac OS 10.9, >shutdown does not work< I get CPU Halted, "Shutdown still waiting on AppleUSBOHCI" and stays there. >restart with a new kernel worked a few times< I get MACH Reboot, "Restart still waiting on AppleUSBOHCI" (now it is stuck with this text: found:AppleACPIPlatformExpert got FACP data, count = 244 reset_port = 0000000000000064 reset_value = 000000fe ) >I want the sleep function too work< after I click sleep the screen goes black the system is running and when I push any key the screen opens to the Login Screen. radus-imac:~ radu$ sudo dmesg | grep sleep Password: ACPI: sleep states S3 S4 S5 USBF: 2.681 AppleUSBEHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 2.682 AppleUSBEHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 3.706 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 3.706 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 3.707 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 3.707 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 3.707 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 3.710 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 3.713 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 3.715 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 3.717 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep USBF: 5.456 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep I get this when I boot too, AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M2AVM/#specifications My kernel version that I use: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/281450-mavericks-kernel-testing-on-amd-formerly-mountain-lion-kernel-testing-on-amd/?p=1978319 If someone is willing to help me, please focus your energy on the sleep function, on windows I use it instead of shutdown.
