It compiled propperly i think, it only gave 2 warnings, no errors. How do i get that branch of Chimera? nawcom gave me a boot.zip, just put that boot file in / of my osx installation?

Hello, I got Lion running on my laptop, but it's not working properly (i think) Lion boots just fine, but it laggs, the graphics aren't good. I think qe/ci is not enabled. When i disable AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext and AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext the system is "working" but when i enable them the system gives this error: Transcript Offline - Buffer pool allocate [181000] failed (I disable them by editing the .plist via transmac, and when i repair permissions (and of course reverting the edit) the system gives this error, even when i use kexthelper to install fresh ones) So now i want to reinstall, i'm using myHack, since I only can boot that way. I want to use my extracted DSDT, do i need to make any changes in my DSDT? How do I add kexts? just using kexthelper b7? My system: Core i7 2630 QM with Intel HD 3000 graphics GT540M (it's not supported) Atheros ar9002wb-1ng WiFi card (i now can use it, so i have that kext) and i thought ALC269 sound card. Got it working now with a modified kext

Does not work. First I used a retail dvd (to usb) from a friend and installed with nawcom. Then I bought a retail DVD myself and installed with iBoot, but still, i can NOT install any bootloader.. GRUB and windows bootloader are working though..

Okay, so i've tested some more, and EVERY time i get this error when installing any OSx bootloader: Boot0: gpt Boot0: test Boot0: test Boot0: error Boot0: test Boot0: test Boot0: error Every time I did a fresh install of OSx to test another bootloader. I'm sick of it the bootloader is NEVER working...

Of course it is! When I installed Mac, I deleted everything, set as GUID, made 2 partitions, one Mac and one Fat. Then installed OSx and then windows. I can only boot into Mac with a boot CD or USB. Windows works just fine. I'll try that version of Chameleon tomorrow (i don't have my laptop right now)

Two little question, i used iBoot to install (because i've less horrible sound when it finishes than i have with Nawcom) but when i want to update to 10.6.8 i allways get kernel panics (i'm using multishit to "finish" my system and then i update). How can that be possible? Second; I've never managed to install Chameleon or whatever bootloader on this laptop. I now have the disk partitioned as GUID, but still i get the messages: Boot0: gpt Boot0: test Boot0: test Boot0: error (or something like that) I don't have partitions lager than 1tb, can it be my laptop HDD? Hello, I've extracted my DSDT with Ubuntu, but when I boot with that it's exactly the same as it is now (because it is a copy of my "BIOS" right now) So can someone help me what to do now? I can send you the DSDT so that you can edit it for me.
