Emanur9 the easier way to start with hackintosh is to use the Olarila usb image, cause it contains all the general kexts and 2 boot loaders!, that gives you many % to have a working installation. i personal suggest to avoid other web guides cause they may use different boot loaders/kexts and it just mess up you system. Use the raw image you find here and tell us what works/ doesn't

I've managed other stuff like bluetooth, wifi and such. With the HDMI/VGA cable connected and FB=Megalodon i have full QE/CI working and let me say that is WAY MORE faster and stable than Maverick. Benchs says that is faster of my windows 8 I will not stop until the internal monitor will works right. Little update, nothing solved but here is infos that can help other people with the Ati 5650 mobility. Boot args: Using the first raw image from Olarilly, don't know if the 2nd one atm on IRC is more updated or such. Kexts are corrected with the right DEVICE and VENDOR ID which are for Ati5650: 0x68c11002, already inside AMD5000controller.kext by default. Only have to add into ADMRadeonx3000.kext. Here the results: GraphicsEnabler=Yes - No FB Backlight internal LCD working, no Image/output GraphicsEnabler=Yes - FB=Zonalis Hang at boot GE=Yes, FB=Langur Backlight working, No Image /output GE=Yes, FB=Megalodon No internal Image, HDMI = FULLY WORKING with QECI (frame buffer loaded) GE=YES FB=Hoolock gives memory Allocation Error, System Halted into boot GE=YES, FB=Orangutan No Internal/no Hdmi, Backlight working on internal GE=YES FB=Eulemur Backlight working, No image No hdmi GE=No, FB=None Working on internal screen, without Framebuffer loaded so no QECI and choppy/poor res

One quick question what you mean with official supported? i've found the 5650 Device and produce id into the amd5000 kext by default, i had just to add into the amd3000x kext one, i've seen 4 IOPCIMATCH in there, i've add the 5650 ID under the Redwood family class (is the class of the 5650 according to wiki). Also is possible that it was working right under maverick ( i m not sure how i made it working cause i modified the 717 edid AND added also the IOPCIMATCH lines), had the usual gradient problem but beside that everything perfect. Should i reverted the graphic kext from 10.10 to the 10.9? blasphemy? Sorry but never tried the fake id way, have to study that cause don't really know how to use.. greeting fixers

Hi guys, after one year here I am again with some issues regarding 10.10 installing. Thank you guys of the raw image, I've installed the OS with no problems, installed FakeSMC and Power Management. I'm getting crazy with the ATI mobility 5650. I've modified the kext ATI 5000 and AMD3000X adding my device id under IOPCIMATCH line, tried several AtiConfig (Langur, Megalodon, Zonalis and Orangutan..) It worked for maverick with the force edid but no luck with yosemite. It works when i plug and HDMI but no luck with the laptop screen, with some AtiConfigs i see the backlight but no image, Please any ideas? thank you so much guys

Hi, i use Nullcpupowermanagment, lapic fix (don't know if it's involved in the problem but i needed it to remove the cpus=1 flag and have the 4 cores running). I don't have DSDT cause i knew that 1st generation i-cores don't need it, am I wrong? can you Artur please say me what i need to do with DSDT (and how to compile it). Many thanks

Hi Arthur and thanks for the answer. I figured that when I don't move the mouse point, Youtube videos (and audio) are lagging. I've googled and found that it may be related to the P state generator of Chameleon. I guess it controls the CPU FBS when idle? Any hint about please ? thanks very much

Updates: Actually i have the entire system working, i would like to have a confirm about: Arrandale's i3 - i5 - i7 (first generation) don't need DSDT, but C and P states from boot.plist No need of SSDT right? QE CI is working but i see that the acceleration is laggy -Unless i move the mouse or press any key- I mean if i start a screensaver it lags until i move the mouse, really no idea of why it happens. Hi, I suggest you to make slow foots without hurry, i mean just install 1 kext per time so you can easily check what's working and what's not. Also use the command: Kextstat It gives a more complete list of the loaded kexts. For the touchpad and keyboard you can eventually try the Voodoo's, which could resolve also your modify keys. I can't help you for the Nvidia Geforce coz I always had ATI's, but from what i've read Nvidias work easily with Vbios loader and the custom resolution chooses. You can easily set this values with Chameleon Wizard. Chameleon Wizard and Kext Wizard are your best friend. Remember every time to rebuild cache and permissions (from kext wiz) or you'll have Kernel Panics even if there kexts are right. Cheers mate

( i can reach the installer only with the following flags with the chameleon boot loader: -x -f -v apci=off cpus=1 PCIRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=No Installation of OS is 100% perfect. After I've installed Chameleon boot loader (last version) After I've installed SMC Then i'm stuck, every time i have to write the flags cause Chameleon Wizard doesn't have all the flags i need. Do i have to install Nullcpumanager? Can i put those flags into chameleon.boot.plist? i don't find PCIRootUID=1 and apci=off in chameleon wizard. Also i've read somewhere about a lapis patch but can't find a proper guide to make it work. Thank you in advance guys
