Thanks for your reply and help. I just got off work and have to finish up my paperwork. Dell LOVES giving us paperwork for some reason. I will try this as soon as I get a chance and I will report back. EDIT: I tried this file but I really didn't notice a difference. What exactly am I supposed to do with it? Do I just put it in my /Extra folder and link it with chameleon wizard?

I have looked all over the net and I can't seem to find any patches for my laptop. Is there anyone that can help me out with this? Please? I have heard that with a DSDT patch you don't have to install any extra kexts or anything. I don't exactly understand all the DSDT lingo. lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Archive.zip
