  1. Could be.. I dont know what to do lol. I'm stuck here... But I managed to (using myhack and chameleon bootloader) boot into the mavericks installation again, but this time I don't reach the installation but only having a spinning colorful wheel as mousepointer. No image, just plain white background (same color as where the grey apple logo in the middle often appears at). Its stuck there and loads forever without anything happening.
  2. I just installed clover and all that on the USB flash drive. BUT.. I can still not reach the usb flashdrive. I don't know what's up. I really CANNOT get into it. It just forces to keep starting into Mavericks and restarts over and over again. What should I do? :/ Thanks! Best, Jonatan EDIT #2! OK I got the clover to work. But I still seem to have chimera as bootloader? Although I'm in clover, I can't seem to boot into Mavericks at all. In fact, It just returns me to the clover menu where I have to choose what disk to boot into. I've tried to boot into all disks. It just sends me straight back to this menu over and over again. Any tips? I don't even get to the "proceed with the install" part. Boot from the pen drive and proceed with the installation When the installation restarts, boot from the installer again to finish the installation After the installation restarts for the second time, the HD partition will show in Clover menu Post install viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1716 I get to the "boot from the pen drive" as the far most. I can boot into Mavericks installation but when I do the screen is just black and nothing happens AT ALL. Thanks
  3. OK thanks alot for all of this, I am super grateful! I wonder though - why clover and not chimera for example? could I install chimera AFTER installing clover and vice versa? or is it recommended to continue with clover? if so, why? Also.. pen drive = usb stick/usb flash drive, right? ;D thanks
  4. without caches? theres no such option in the bootloader. You mean ignore caches? The problem is that it doesnt even seem to show any picture of option to boot it into the USB at all. And if I press F8 (EFI Bios) and boot into the USB manually that way, it still tries to boot into my primary HDD which is mavericks. And here the problem occurs again - reboot... reboot... reboot. Clover should be burnt as ISO now on my USB flash drive, but I just can't reach it at all :/ It sure is really frustrating all of this.
  5. OK got another MACbook pro to try to this do. But still, I don't know how to reach the usb itself from the bootloader. IT just keeps restarting over and over again.
  6. OK thanks alot! but honestly .. I can't even boot into the USB flash drive I'm using! it keeps restarting no matter what bootflags I'm using. I got it to boot into the USB flash drive BEFORE updating to Mavericks by typing the following bootflags: -v npci=0x2000 cpus=1, but that doesn't work now at all. What should I do then?
  7. Sorry I'm not using Chameleon, I'm using CHIMERA, and the version of Chimera is v.2.0.1 r2109. Any clues? I sense that this is an outdated version of Chimera. Also.. is it even recommended to continue with chimera? or should I choose another bootloader? I was also wondering how I update it to the latest? I googled about it but couldn't find any facts at all on this matter. Usually one would just run the installation file, but since I can't get into the OS I can't do that. How should I do it then? Thanks alot!!
  8. Oh, sorry, I might have been in the wrong section of the forum (apologize for this). I don't know what version of Chameleon I'm using actually - how do I check that? (I'm new to bios and hackintosh in overall). I had a perfectly running ML install on my hack, but now it just wont boot into OSX at all, when the mavericks installation is finished..
  9. Hi guys! my first post here. I’m using an Asus Sabertooth x79 motherboard with Intel 3930k processor. I’ve successfully installed Mavericks, but when trying to boot into the new OS I just CANNOT reach it. The computer just restarts itself over and over again. Not even reaching the apple loading logo with the spinning wheel. What should I do? I’ve tried all kinds of bootflags and combinations suchs as -v npci=0×3000 or npci=0×2000 -x and all other kinds of commands, I’ve tried literally 30-40 combinations, I kept trying over and over again yesterday. No luck at all. Please, ANY help is greatly appreciated!! I can’t get my computer to work after the update at all :/ I’m using Chameleon as bootloader (I think) and u n i b e a s t though. I don’t have ANYTHING other than OSX installed on my computer, so I can’t enter windows or anything.
