Hi, I have a Lenovo G460 with the following configuration running 10.7.4 without any problems : Intel Core i5 520M 4 GB ram 500 GB HDD Nvidia Geforce 310M 512 MB I installed 10.9 successfully but I can boot only using safe mode. When i boot normally in verbose I am stuck at the screen image attached below. Any suggestions?? I am using the latest Chameleon bootloader and have FakeSMC in extensions. Thanks.

Hey Cassio guess what.....the problem is now gone. No system freezes or graphic artifacts. Turns out that the SBUS in my DSDT was messed up so it was causing the problems and also i added my device id the AGPM kext using a macbook pro 6,2 smbios. I made a fresh install of ML using myhack which is far more better than unishit and got my dsdt from here http://rampagedev.wordpress.com. Its been 3 straight days and no freezes at all. Everything is working great!! Thanks a lot for your help in the past. Cheers

Hi there, I also get the same message while booting but the system boots up fine. Also i get cant load kext com.apple.appleSMCPDRC and some more similar things about the kext. Is it normal or will i have to do some edits? Thanks.

Hey Cassio i found something interesting here. I installed the AppleACPIPlatform.kext from 10.7.4 and edited AGPM kext with my device id 0a75 using macbook pro 6,2 smbios and now i can see the gpu changing states. Here it is: 06/08/12 8:28:17.000 PM kernel[0]: AGPM: GPU = GFX0 G-state set to 0 from 2, ControlID = 17. SW occupancy updated. 06/08/12 8:28:18.000 PM kernel[0]: AGPM: updateGPUHwPstate(0, 0): fHwPstate = 0 fFB = 0xffffff800a691800 06/08/12 8:28:19.000 PM kernel[0]: AGPM: updateGPUHwPstate(0, 0): fHwPstate = 0 fFB = 0xffffff800a691800 06/08/12 8:28:21.000 PM kernel[0]: AGPM: updateGPUHwPstate(1, 0): fHwPstate = 0 fFB = 0xffffff800a691800 06/08/12 8:28:21.000 PM kernel[0]: AGPM: updateGPUHwPstate(): state = 1. Whenever i use expose` or launchpad or notification centre or any full screen app the gpu changes to state 0 and after that it goes back to 1 and then to 2 and stays there. Never goes to 3. And i think if it stays for a long time at 0 i get the freeze. So can you help me edit the threshold values for my gpu?? Thanks a lot.

Hey Cassio is there a way to patch or edit the GeforceGA plugin and the GeforceGLdriver bundle?? Coz i replaced Geforce.kext, GeforceGA.plugin, GeforceGLdriver.bundle and GeforceVAdriver.bundle from 10.7.4 and i got full resolution WITHOUT qe/ci and NO system freezes. So maybe editing them would do the trick?
-
btw can you take a look at my DSDT? Maybe it has some problems. DSDT.aml.zip
-
I'm thinking of upgrading my gpu. Maybe to 460m or 540m. Coz about a year back my laptop was not working so i took it to the service center and the guys said that the graphics chipset was toasted so they replaced it so it means that i probably will be able to upgrade it.

yes i tried that but still no luck. On the verge to give up now. Unable to figure out whats exactly the problem- hardware, software, buggy drivers or power related. Btw how can i downgrade to Lion without loosing my data? Can i just boot into the unishit lion installer and install over my ML drive?? Or should i keep trying more to get my gpu working in ML?

Yes i have seen that before but nvdagf100hal is for fermi 4xx and 5xx cards...right? And i have the geforce 310m so how will it work?
