Thank you very much! It was the BIOS setting Limit maximum CPUID - I changed from Enabled to Disabled and BAM! The KP was gone. I've got 10.8.5 installed now. I just have to get it configured with a boot loader & I should be good to go. Thank you very much for your help!

Please help. I'm getting this KP (see image) and think it might be CPU related? I've tried everything I know of (booting with -v -x GraphicsEnabler=No) but can't get past this. Trying to install with the 10.8.5 install image linked at the beginning on this post. Trying UEFI boot. I tried booting with Chameleon by pressing 1 during boot, but it didn't work - just went into the Clover bootloader. My specs: Core i7-4770k Asus Gryphon mATX mobo 16GB RAM Gigabyte GTX 770 vid card Thanks!
