Recently installed OSX through the bootable USB tutorial provided on this site. However, it will only boot in safe (when not booted in safe, it hangs after a bluetooth message comes up) and when booted that way, won't recognize anything besides the installer USB drive. It won't mount any other devices, even CDs/DVDs. No networking also means that I cannot download any required kexts or anything. I'm still quite a noob when it comes to this, and I'm hoping someone is willing to give me a hand. Thanks!
I am also currently using Ubuntu 12.04, and cannot write to either the installed drive or the bootable USB, since they are both HFS+.
