Thanks artur-pt, Your patched DSDT does help my lap start smoothly and recognise one Acer module (PCI usb). Yet, as you said it's not god - we have to accept some unrecognised parts (bcm43225, alcor usb2 card reader, etc) as long as it's not a real macbook. Best regards, linhbv

Hi, Please help patch DSDT for my Acer 4820 motherboard with following problems: 1. Intel chipsets: - 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset Thermal subsystem doesn't function, which seems to make it hotter (can feel it while typing) and battery drain quicker (under Windows 8, it takes nearly 2hrs for the battery to drain out, with Mac ML 10.8.4 - it drains out within apps 1hr) - Some other chipsets which don't work: + 5 Series / 3400 Series Chipset PCI Express Root Port 1 / Port 6 + 5 Series / 3400 Series Chipset HECI Controller + 82801 Mobile PCI Bridge 2. Broadcom BCM43225 802.11b/g/n (14e4:4357) + BCM92046 bluetooth (Single-Band 802.11n and Bluetooth 3.0 Half MiniCard) - It appears there's no kext drivers for BCM43225. However, I did manage to get the bluetooth loaded somehow by applying a patched DSDT file from Orarila or using a patched Broadcom bluetooth kext--I don't know exactly which one - thus I wonder if a fully patched DSDT for Acer 4820 motherboard would help enabling both Wifi and Bluetooth for ML 10.8.4 Information of my laptop: - Acer Aspire 4820 382G50 Mnks - Intel Core i380 - Audio: Realtek ALC269 (working with VoodooHDA 282ML kext) - GPU: IntelHD Graphics (working with IntelHD CI/QE kext for ML 10.8.4) - Ethernet: Atheros AR8151 kext (working with multishit patched kext for Atheros wireless device) - Wireless: Broadcom BCM43225 802.11b/g/n (14e4:4357) + BCM92046 bluetooth (not working) (I temporarily use a USB Wireless Adaptor - TP Link TL-WN725 v2 with a patched kext for RTL8188E) Thanx in advance... acer4820-dsdt.zip Send me .zip
