Im trying to install ML on an Acer aspire v3-571g laptop (i5-2450M 2.5ghz with 4gig ram and both integrated intel 3000 graphics and Nvidia GT 630M)
I cant seem to be able to boot from the usb - I have selected it in the bios, I can see it by name there but re-booting then just goes to the following screen:

I've tried booting from a DVD ML10.8 which does a bit better - it gets half through the actual install before hanging on 'BootCacheControl' - img below:

Can anyone suggest what I can do to boot from my 8gig imation usb stick as it appears I will have to tweak the files making a DVD boot unworkable.
