Hello guys, I need your precious help cause i am going crazy... Let's begin with the specs: 1. Intel CPU Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93 GHz 2. 2GB RAM 3. ASUS P5KPL-AM EPU graphics onboard G31 BIOS 5.01 4. ASUS EN210 Silence 1GB So here is the problem. I installed mountain lion as described here (http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1627) from my usb with the onboard graphics cause i was searching for my EN210. Everything went smooth as butter. I finished installation fixed my DSDT from here(http://Olarila.com/forum/packs.php) fixed my sound installed chameleon and with GraphicsEnabler=Yes i was able to boot to mountain lion with everything working except QL/EC cause the graphics card is not really supported. Here comes the boom as soos as i installs my asus en210 i get stuck at this () i tried to boot with everything possible solution npci=0x2000, npci=0x3000, PCIRootUID=0, PCIRootUID=1 and every combination of the previous, nothing still stucked. I noticed that if i boot with -v -x -f i see that is stuck at [PCI Configuration Begins] and 1 time in 10 there is a possibility to boot in safe mode (How Is tha even Possible?!?!?!)... There is also another strange thing when things done with the below exact timing... 1. I boot to mountain lion with my onboard, en210 disabled and boot flags "GraphicsEnabler=Yes" -> everything ok 2. Restart no shutdown 3. I boot to mountain lion with my onboard disabled, en210 enabled and boot flags "GraphicsEnabler=Yes npci=0x2000) -> everything ok 4. Restart no shutdown 5. same as step 2 -> everything ok 6. Shutdown 7. AGAIN STUCK as the attached picture shows! Please someone with a solution or ideas help me i am going crazy and as this page (http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.8.2) ASUS EN210 Silence plays Out Of the Box only with boot flags "GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1" My regards, Ribben

Hello guys, Below i will explain the procedure i followed to install mountain lion on Acer Aspire 7720g First and foremost thanks for the Olarila.com for it's active community and willing people to help! Requirements: Pre-Install 1. Bios v1.45 (ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/aspire_7720/vista/Bios/v1.45.zip) 2. Mountain Lion 1.8.2 USB Install (http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1627) Post-Install 3. multishit (http://www.tonycrapx86.com/downloads.php?do=cat&id=3) (Another site with great support for hackintosh community) 4. modified DSDT (DSDT.aml.zip) Patched with patch found from orallila.com and i personally fixed remaining Warnings... 5. Patched AppleHDA.kext (http://cl.ly/0A0J1Z2I4207) Patched from Mirone great guy and really helpful,thumbs up for him! 6. Kext Utility (http://www.osx86.net/view/2514-latest_kext_utility_10.8_edition.html) INSTALLATION As long as you follow this tutorial all should install just fine (http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1627) POST-INSTALLATION When you first boot your freshly installed Mountain Lion run multishit and install it with the options showned below Then paste the provided dsdt in "/Extra/" Install AppleHDA.kext with "Kext Utility" Reboot and you should now be ready to use and explore Mountain Lion OS X.... Things that work: 1. USB 2. Sound (External Mic is not working but i can live with that) 3. C-States & P-States (Generated by Chameleon) 4. Graphics (Generated by Chameleon) 5. Keyboard & Touchpad (Installed by multishit, ACPIPS2Nub.kext & ApplePS2Controller.kext) 6. FireWire (I am not sure if someone tests it please give feedback) Things that doesn't work: 1. WiFi (if i remember by default it comes with Intel 3945abg i have replaced with BCM4311. Work Natively for both Mac and Windows) 2. Ethernet (I don't really need it but i thinks there is a kext out there which works just fine) 3. Camera ( I don't think it will ever play) 4. Card reader (Same as the above) 5. Sleep (Same as the above) 4. Brightness keys ( Althought the Fn+Right,Left control the screen brightness the mac notification (Sun) doesn't comes up) Regarding SMBios.plist currently i am staying with MacPro3,1 cause it's the one with the better performance everything else i tried (MacBookPro3.1,MacBookPro4.1, MacBookPro5.1) it's a performance drop. Anyone with any Hints & Tips for this is more than welcomed... As a conclusion if everyone has a suggestion or a solution or a query please post so we can achieve better compatibility for this laptop!

Ok i think i got what EAPD is... but where i have to put it, i mean is a key with value 0 in platform.xml???

Hello Mirone, thanks so much for the help... you are losing me mate what is EAPD??? do you mean binary patching of applehda??? a little more help My soundcard is a realtek ALC268 if that is any help......

Thanks so much for your help pernacabeluda! Sorry for my late answer but after i got it boot from usb i had to go out... So what i did in case anyone is having similar problems: 1. Downloaded the 10.8.2 from chat 2. Patch the .raw file with the the attachement from pernacabeluda post 3. Use win32diskimage to write to device 4. Everything working! My regards, Ribben

Thanks for the reply... It doesn't give me any error message it just don't boot.. I pathed the .raw image and it's writing to the flash drive as we speak... I will also check with the gparted after it's done if the partition is marked as active... I will update as soon as all of the above finishes and have some result My regards, Ribben
