I read somewhere that the mac partition must be in the first 1024 cylinder of HD.

I have used erase option. I selected the partition (not the whole disk) I have created in windows disk manager and used the erase option. May be I should try it on another disk

Hi, thanks for the advice. I have tried this but when I wanted to erase the partition in Disk Utility (OS X installer) it says "can not modify the partition table"

Hi, I have tried installing ML on my Asus K55Vm with windows server 2008 already installed on it. When I boot to install screen and use DiskUtil to partition my disk it gives me error "can't modify the partition layout". I know that my partitioning is based on MBR and I don't want to repartition the disk and lost my windows os. How can I solve this problem. Any help will be appreciated.
