    You could try installing the official nVidia drivers from http://www.nvidia.com/object/macosx-304.00.05f02-driver.html. If that works out, install the latest CUDA drivers as well and the enable OpenCL.

    If you're using USB 3.0, then it's an issue with OS X. I came across an app on the AppStore called Jettison that will eject plugged in devices before it sleeps automatically and the devices will appear after wake.

    @artur-pt I was trying to avoid the use of VoodooHDA as it might cause a kernel panic upon boot up as well as stopping my hack from sleeping. I will give the DSDT along with the latest VoodooHDA a shot and hope that it all works out. Thanks again for your help!

    Do you have a proper DSDT for your hack?

    You can choose to install either one of the bootloaders. Both Chimera and Chameleon can autodetect other OS's and will display an option during boot for these OS's.

    artur-pt that patched DSDT worked great! Everything works, with the exception of my broken iMessages. Not sure why it no longer logs in properly but Facetime and iCloud still works. BTW, what patches did you apply, if you do not mind me asking? Thank you again for your help!
